5 stars. I’ve had mine for years and it has been durable and reliable! I recently had an issue with the blade on the fan and reached out to the company directly. They were so helpful and straight to the point. I can’t tell you how refreshing that is. They are having a new fan blade sent to me. My family will continue to purchase items from this company.

Overall, this fan is great. It blows hard and has a study , wide, tripod base that keeps it rock solid on your flat surface. FYI the tripod stand is WIDE, so plan your surface space accordingly. I was really hoping the "clamp" option was going to be good also as I like to have this fan in a hanging position so as to not take up surface space. So far though, the clamp is slightly disappointing. Its curved grip, while enhancing one hanger beam actually detracts from other hanger beam options. It's hit or miss. I like the idea a lot, and you may find this to be the perfect solution, I just haven't bee able to work it out yet. The idea is awesome though and like I said, the fan part (most important) is sturdy and powerful. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could add the half star.

This is easy to put together and works extremely well. I was disappointed with the pole clamp, it was not strong enough to hold the fan in position. Overall, a wonderful product.

I've needed a powerful fan this size for years in my basement shop, but I needed one I could hang from the joists and move easily. This does it all. Easy to hang. Powerful. It's what I've envisioned in my head for years as a solution, and here it is. Highly recommended.

I bought this fan to use as a touring drummer. It had a difficult time reaching the moment of inertia, right out of the box. It acted like it needed a capacitor to get going. I just reached over and spun it with my drumstick, and it ran ok. I got it right before a gig, and it was hot on that stage so I had to keep it that night. Afterwards, it got packed up with my other things, and I didn't think about it to return it. We played once a month, and practiced once a week, all for just under three hours. So I ran the fan 8 times, for three hours each per month, each time spinning it to get it started. It lasted 1.5 months before it stopped spinning mid show, then it smoked a bit and went into the garbage. I am hesitant to purchase another Vornado product, despite the mostly good reviews.

I bought the fan and it worked great for two months. I run it about 10 hours a day on full power. After two months it started making noise like there was something loose inside....as well as one of the legs came loose and could not be tightened back up. I had to lay the fan on its back to use it......so I bought another one figuring I just had bad luck with the first one. I am just starting into my second month with the second fan....so far so good.I like that is it super loud, great for helping to drown out noises so I can sleep.

This fan works great i.e. moves air. It has the versatile mount that we needed for our particular application and that works fine as well. We have it in a utility room running 24/7 for the past few months and it hasn't had an issue. However, this fan is very loud (on low) which doesn't bother us since it is in a room we are only in for short periods of time, but we have another tornado fan (retro look, same size) that has been running for years almost constantly in our house as an air circulator, and it is very quiet so that is what I'm comparing it to.
