So I use ginseng because I just love the way I feel. I noticed that some ginseng brands make me super aggressive. Not in a pick a fight kinda way but in a you want to fight let's go kinda way. First of all, I trust traditional Chinese medicine that says it boosts the immune system. Ginseng is the "king of tonic herbs" that enhances the inner chi energy. I am willing to shell out for this supplement, because good health and long life is a high priority for me (I can't take my money with me!). Microingredients company offers lots of health supplements and appears to be a quality producer--that's important. The company says this is 6 year grown ginseng, and I don't doubt that statement. That's important, because the older the root is, the higher the active ingredient --ginsenosides-is. Here is my true story about ginseng: I lived on a farm in 1994 and met a fellow whose father was a ginseng hunter in the mountains of Virginia, and he gave me an old root. I have no idea how old it was; it could easily have been 10 - 20 years old. I bit off a small portion and chewed on it--wow--it felt like my whole body was suffused with chi energy. That made a believer out me. Probably a rich Asian would pay a thousand dollars for a pound of old ginseng roots or how about dried tiger or rhino balz.
