Installed a hand rail outside my shower on ceramic tile. Project was held off for a few years as. was afraid to crack or break the tile. Got a spare tile and used an aggressive drill bit that took a long time to get into tile and it was overheating my battery powered drill. Found these diamond coated drill bits on. amazon and bought a set 6 bits and two conventional bits. Instructions are specific. Using the hardened drill bits provided drilled a starter hole. This is a must step. As the Damond coated bit is round and hollow on the end. Need the hole to get a grip for diamond drill bit. Then as instructed kept a steady rotating motion to drill thru tile Drilled 6 holes in about an hour. The 6 bits come in 3 sizes with 2 bits in each size. If were to do it again would have used larger bit to allow for inserts into wall to hold the drill bits. Took a very long project and made it an easy and doable project. No more suction cup hand holds

i bought this Diamond Drill Bit Set because I was getting ready to start doing crafts again. I had used my husband's drill for my crafts, however, I wanted one that was mine and that was easy to handle. I did research and read many reviews on this type of tool. In the end, it made sense to order the above drill bit set. I have been so happy with this set as I don't have to ask my husband to help me like I did when I used his general contractor tools. These bits are easy to use, convenient and very efficient for drilling holes in glass. The set is everything that was described on Amazon and I would recommend this to any of my friends. Even my husband is impressed with these bits for the work that they can do.

We run a handyman business, so go through quite a few tools and supplies. Inevitably that work means that we need to drill tile, granite etc from time to time, and that can get very pricey if you go to the big box stores. Not with these great value drill bits!As with all diamond tipped bits, keeping the cut wetted is key not only to cutting speed and quality, it’s key to bit longevity. If you do that properly, these will last many many cuts. They cut cleanly, quickly, and with very little chatter, meaning they’re good and solid. Obviously just ignore the chisel-tip bit they supply as a hole-stater - those are fine for soft stone etc, but I’ve yet to find one which can drill high quality tile. Zero criticism for that - it’s just that we rarely find use for them, preferring to tip the drill and start the hole that way.The bottom line? Excellent value, great for even pro use, seem to be as good as the expensive ones at the big box stores. Go for it!

Solid drill set; however, check the sizing to ensure these are large enough for your purposes. I used the largest one in the set to drill a drain hole in a planter pot, but the other bits were very small and wouldn't have made a very sizable drainage hole.

I bought these to drill some holes in some of my favorite pots and glass jars for plant drainage. I was nervous about cracking the glass. Worked like a charm. Worth the purchase.

I used them to drill through some ceramic tile. They work great. You have to start them on an angle first but that’s ok.
