It works!
I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because the installation was challenging and the directions were limited. These are the steps I followed: 1. I completely drained the tank and used a towel to mop up the remaining water. 2. I let it sit for 2 hours with the top off to further dry out and then I used a hair dryer to make sure it was bone dry. 3. I measured and cut the product into three panels that would overlap. I removed the backing and installed the pieces . I used silicone to seal the seams. I also added a double thickness to the back of the tank, where most of the condensation came from. I made sure that all the moving pieces were not constrained and then let it dry fora couple of hours. After drying, I filled the tank and it has been in use for 3 days without any condensation.

Helps a little
First and foremost if you want these to stick make sure there is not even a hint of moisture. That being said I'm not sure how these will hold up in a tank that is filled with water. As soon as I realized how not sticky they became in water I used silicone to help them stick and around all edges. My tank still sweats but it did help reduce it a bit. I would recommend removing the tank and all internals, which I did not do to put these in.

Doesn't work.
I shut off the water, drained the toilet tank, dried the inside of the tank. Cleaned all the film from the inside walls of the tank. Let it set for about 2 hours making sure it was dry. Went over it with a paper towel. Was bone dry.Cut it to size . Tried to adhere this to the inside of tank and it would not stick. It was a waste of my money.

Difficult to make it fit
As an idea it might work to insulate the toilet tank, but it is very hard to get a perfect fit as you have to cut it where there are certain curvatures and angles, which weakens it immediately and reduces its performance.
