The tree of life design is gorgeous and looks so much better than a plain bookend. The design is cut into the bookend by laser and as a result, there are no rough edges or burrs that you can scratch yourself on - the edges are all super smooth.Unfortunately due to inadequate packaging by Amazon, the book ends that I received were misshapen. They are supposed to be in an "L" shape, but because the Amazon box I received was squashed, the book ends had a lean to them, which basically made them look like this "\_" "_/". I am going to see if I can get them back to the correct shape by putting books either side of them and a heavy weight on either side of the books and hopefully that will help to get them back to the correct "L" shape.So, ignoring the misshapen book ends, which was not the fault of the seller or manufacturer, I am happy to give these book ends my recommendation. The design is a lovely design and at the time of this review, the book ends are selling for just £6.99 - which is excellent value considering they have a laser cut intricate design to them.

Look attractive and well made

These bookends are both beautiful and finely crafted. The tree design is well-executed and adds a lovely touch to my book collection. The black color makes them versatile, fitting seamlessly into both my living room and bedroom. While the material isn't overly thick or heavy, they still provide ample support for my books and keep them neatly in place.

These book ends are really lovely and look great on my shelf. I love the tree design and these are a very affordable addition to my homes aesthetics. I wouldn't describe them as heavy duty as they are in fact actually very light weight however they are perfect for my needs.
