Perfect! And they have it in black!
Perfect to keep my kitten from falling off the stairs. I had gates up for previous cats, and hated the look. These, although not pretty up close or on the inside, from the ground they are hardily noticeable. My spindles and rails are black, so it was nice to find black mesh. I got extra zip ties, and was able to cut one to fit going down the steps. I even wrapped it through to create an angled slant to keep her from walking up the out side of the step. Torti kittens… I should have named her Kamakaze, because she’s nuts.

Perfect!
I live on the 3ed floor and needed something so my cat could go outside on the deck with me and not have to worry about him falling through the railing. This was easy to install, you can see through it so it doesn't block your view and from below on the sidewalk you can't even see it. The first photo is from the door and the second one is close up. The black fence at the bottom I also got on Amazon to block the space between the deck and where we ended the screen.

Good!
It does what it’s supposed to. However, the strings that come with it come undone easily. So I eventually re-did it with the zip ties. My 7 month old scratched up his knee less than 2 hours after. I even used a nail drill to make the edges less sharp, but it really didn’t prevent anything. But, it is snug and I’m confident nothing will get through!

The netting is fine, but the stick-on anchors are a joke when used as described.
This netting looks sturdy and durable, but in practice, it is very hard to make it baby-proof. We have a rather complex banister, with lots of turned banister posts and crown molding on the anchor posts and along the bottom edge that leave very little room for the little adhesive anchors to attach. We cleaned the wood surface as recommended. However, as described in the photos for the product, trying to use the anchors on the bottom edge so that the ties pull away from them, they invariably pull off with minimal effort. After thinking it over, I decided to stick the anchors to the back-side of the banister posts, so the ties will be pushing them onto the post, instead of pulling them off. This seems to work very well. Also, for some reason, the backing for the anchors is layered paper, and the individual layers pull apart far easier than the backing does from the adhesive surface. Very frustrating and time-consuming to remove.Risk assessment: In the end, I believe this should be an effective barrier, using the anchors on the backs of the posts as I described, but a single failure of one of these little adhesives could allow a determined child to crawl under and suffer a serious injury in a fall. The anchors should be checked regularly, and this should not be consider safe for unmonitored use as a barrier for a small child. I would consider it a deterrent, but a willful child could possibly pull an anchor loose if given enough time.

Perfect
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product after moving into a home with a huge stairway opening, I was afraid after day 2 when my 1 year old attempted to put her leg through the rails to get to her siblings below and I knew I needed some way to cover up the spaces. This was the perfect solution. It is super simple to setup and customize to your needs. It is very sturdy, I zip tied it to the bannister and the very bottom of the rails. It has a little give but not to the point of being able to put anything through the spaces. Super simple to move and adjust because all you need to set it up again is the zip ties. I didn’t feel like the little ropes they gave would hold it properly or my kids would end up untying them so I didn’t use them but I think it would be fire for a dog. Bonus points is you can’t even tell it’s on there unless you’re looking at where it overlaps or up close. Best purchase!
