Works better than expected. Cut the heat feedback from the exhaust hose considerably more than I had hoped! Cover gets just slightly warm to the touch. WAY better than anything else I have tried! This should be a standard item with ALL portables. Clearly improved our efficiency. THANK YOU!

does work as described. I feel less heat around the hose however I wish it was longer as I have to hose connected to each other.

First and foremost the thing works! Secondly it’s a pretty tight fit so it’s a little difficult to install by yourself and it also does not like to make sharp bends but you can make it happen. During my testing it seemed to lower the temperature of the pipe by about 10 degrees besides right out of the machine it dropped about 20 degrees! Quite a big difference in how it feels so far. Giving it 4 stars because it’s not as thick of material as I expected and it doesn’t like to bend much. Besides that it seems great

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. The air conditioning vent hose no longer radiates heat back into the room.

This product has the worst chemical smell I’ve ever experienced. It was so bad my family started to have headaches and feel bad after less than 24 hours of using it and it triggered a full blown asthma attack in my husband. At first we thought it was seasonal allergies but the minute I removed the product from the hose and aired out the room we all began to improve so I know that whatever toxic fumes this product was putting into our air was affecting our health. What’s even more frustrating is that it did actually work - it cooled the hose significantly and lowered the overall temperature of the room, but we can’t actually use it because of the horrible fumes. I’m returning it and looking for a healthier, safer alternative.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Oh my goodness this thing is stinky. Right now smells like a tire fire, and it was outside airing out from 6am to 5pm. I had installed it and tried to sleep in the same room, but that was not happening, so it's outside again and hopefully it will be less smelly tomorrow. It went on and came off the hose with minimal effort. Only buy it if you have time time to air it out before use, otherwise you'll get a headache from the smell.

Actually keeps the heat out. Highly recommended!
