Pleased with purchase
My Dr. had recommended magnesium but I bought the citrate version which is for constipation That wasn't my issue. This one is so much better and very glad to have made the change for so many reasons. Glossing over the main one with delicacy, I had a magnesium deficiency , resulting in low energy & low moods. This was a great remedy for those.

Works for monthly cycles!
I have been taking these mainly around my monthly cycle. My lower abdominal pain and lower back pain is unbearable. I take the max amount on bad days. Works better than aleve, tylenol, all that. May make you tired and super relaxed!!

CAREFUL! It's 500mg per capsule, not per serving!
I've been worried; because last week my feet, hands, and tongue have become tingly/kinda asleep feeling (parathesia). It turns out I've been taking 1000mg of this product every night, when the front label led me to believe the 2 capsule serving was 500mg total.Magnesium and Calcium are transported using the same 'highway,' so this could be causing a magnesium traffic jam where I'm not getting any Calcium from my multivitamin to absorb.SLEEP & LAXATIVE: For sleep 'benefits', you just need enough for the dip in blood pressure, and a psychiatrist I worked with suggested 500mg of Mag Glycinate specifically to help me sleep. It works like a charm on an empty stomach with some milk. I've not experienced any laxative effect, but that's likely because it's glycinate and not citrate or malate (what I've found in most laxative products).MAYBE I'M WRONG: I mentioned tingling/asleep fingers and toes...I'm a guy who is pretty healthy, but chooses to be on Testosterone injections, and that causes the body to overproduce red blood cellsThat then thickens blood, you go donate it, and things balance out again. It made sense to me that with a 17.9 hemoglobin level (pretty thick), that maybe my circulation wasn't getting through the capillaries in my extremities and that caused the sensation. Now I'm not so sure. ...yes, I'm going for labs in a week for a definitive differential diagnosis. I work in healthcare and travel, my doctor can't legally speak to me while I am out of state.

I take this with my progesterone before bedtime and I think it helps, but I can't be certain since progesterone alone makes you sleepy. However, if I run out of this magnesium I do not sleep as soundly as I do when I take it. The capsules are a good size (a little smaller) compared to most magnesium supplements.
