Do yourself a favour and try this!
My poor little baby couldn't latch properly since birth so after trying several different options, I had to resort to expressing milk to make sure she received the goodness of breastmilk. I researched for several weeks before I went and splurged on an electric pump (I was using my philips avent hand pump till then and omg my hands were sore!). There are many pumps available on the market for various prices...you'll find that a hospital grade pump is expensive unless you rent it...but if you're planning to express long term, I would recommend THIS pump. Double electric, easy to use, improves milk supply, quiet, easy to clean and use and most importantly, closed circuit so NO risk of contamination, even if you buy one second hand. There are so many cases of mold and fungus growing inside the tubing of various high end breast pumps but that's not a problem with this one. VERY pleased with the product. Was delivered to me by 11am the very next day and customer service has been absolutely fantastic. The set comes with three different sized flanges for different sized breasts for comfort. Don't we just love swiss-made products? :) Oh and I'm yet to see or hear of a bad review about this pump! I would say its VERY reasonably priced for what you get and in comparison to other similar models. You can adjust both the speed of suction as well as the suction pressure, each to 6 different settings...just fab!

Fantastic pump
Excellent pump.Heavy duty. When my son couldn't latch on, this is the pump they used at the hospital and it's excellent.Used multiple times a day and night and never fails. Can transport, as it can take batteries out and about.Dislike, it is abit noisy. But not too bad. Baby can sleep through the noise.

Fast/Efficient electric pump in comparison to other's on the market.
I bought this for my wife and its far better than the Tommee Tippee electric pump. Its superior in terms of the following:Pros- Quieter and you barely can hear the electric pump- My wife seems to produce more breast milk with this and its less painful. It also mimics similar process to our little girl feeding.- Easier to clean and not many parts- has dual functionalityCon's- slightly expensive but worth spending to get the right quality product

Not worth the money, don't buy
Cons:Has exactly the same suction power as a £30 no-name chinese pump that I purchased 6 months ago. The pump unit is bulky and the plastic feels cheap. You really need to push down on those buttons of you want it to work! It's also not silent at all when you start turning up the range and vacuum.Did not get the job done for us.No built-in battery like similar modelsLabel on box that states this cannot be returned if box is open because it's a 'personal' medical device?!Pros:Easy to set up and useIs technically portable (with AA batteries) but you would need a backpack for it as it's already heavy without the 8! batteries ot requiresQuality of bottle and fittingsCannot recommend this product and it's a shame really because Ardo do have high quality products. This is not one of those.

Great
I bought this to replace my medela swing which stopped working after 6 weeks.i have had it for 4 weeks now. I exclusively pump for my premature baby at the minute. The ardo seems to be coping well with my 8 pumping sessions a day so far. Remember to cycle high and vacuum low first then turn the cycles down and vacuum up high once milk starts flowing and get great yield every time.I only have one concern and that is it has started to squeak, so not very silent anymore but it doesn't affect its performance so I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't break down on me like the medela did. Another reason I bought this is because it takes the bottles that uk hospitals provide, saving the hassle unnecessary washing and sterilising. I really like this product. Only 4 stars because of the squeak.

Great product, good range of attachments for fit!
After doing extensive research I settled on this pump. Originally used the Medela swing electric pump but really didn’t get on with it and found I couldn’t get different sized attachments easily- I was finding the standard 24mm was rubbing to the point it cracked my nipple. I would say I have large ish nipples and 32FF boobs normally (some breast pumps seem better for smaller boobs which is why I mention this!!) The reason I went for the Ardo double (even though I only need to express one at a time) was because of the multitude of different size options that’s come with the double pump for only £20 more (31mm, 28mm) plus I like to sterilise them a lot! The pump is really easy to assemble and use, plus you don’t have to lean forward horrendously to catch all the milk. There is a 28mm silicone cushion that fits into the 31mm funnel and that makes pumping soooo comfortable. The unit is very quiet- I use this in the night and it doesn’t wake hubby or baby. I’d absolutely recommend- after 4 weeks of pumping pain this has been a real relief!!

Life changing
Tried different pumps, this one was suggested by the breastfeeding team in the hospital as it is similar to the one is used by NHS. Not painful at all, very easy to use. The only thing is that you have to hold it and they don't produce tats for the bottles unfortunately.

Very good whilst it lasted but the machine gave up 3 months after I started using it.The lid on the pump is also very fiddly to get a good suction and you need that for it to work, once you have it on correctly, there is great suction,
