Tiger BalmNeck and Shoulder Rub -Soothing Cream for Use on the Neck and Shoulder Area, 50 g (Pack of 1)

I purchased this neck & shoulder rub for my Mum who suffers daily with very intense neck, shoulder & back pain.She has a lot of degenerative wear & tear to her neck, shoulders & back, so much so she has been offered an operation for her spine.She has tried lots of methods to alleviate her pain, such as painkillers, cbd, steriod injections, acupuncture, physiotherapy therapy & many a ice/heat spray & cream (those one's in the red & blue spray cans).Her honest opinion of this rub is that it was good, she liked the smell & texture, a light cream that absorbs into the skin quickly, & isn't too greasy/heavy.It did not itch, burn or give her any redness/rash.It eased her discomfort somehwhat, especially at night before bed, she said she could "feel something working".She felt some tingling/warmth, but nothing too intense or unpleasant.I would say use with caution if you are not used to using topical heat creams.We are both also big fans of the well known red tiger balm, & white tiger balm in the glass jars, they both smell amazing.Overall my mum said she would buy this rub again.Decent price, nice packaging & it arrived quickly via Amazon.

I quite often get a headache on the left side and top of my head which always seems to originate from the shoulder and climbs up the neck so I felt this was worth a try. I'm pleased to say it has worked well for me. It needs to be used as soon as you notice a headache coming on; left until later it is less effective although can still help.It is very economical and the relatively small tube lasts a long time. I use an amount the size of a small pea and rub it well in to my shoulder and neck, up behind the ear. I find it usually brings relief speedily, within 5-10 minutes. It has very little smell and is not offensive. It disappears into the skin when rubbed in and I haven't noticed it marking my clothing in any way.I am usually sceptical regarding treatments like this but have recently bought my second supply. It might not work for everyone but I think it is worth trying if you experience the type of headache it is designed to help.

It's a bit like a cream not the solid tiger balm in pot it glides on easy and doesn't smell too strong I got an instant cooling sensation and I think it distracts you from the pain it lasted for few hours so did help. It was fast delivery I would buy again

I'm afraid this does not soothe anything.Disappointed.

I have used this product for years on muscles and joints. It helps me very much with operations I have had from minor to major surgeries. I rub it in where my supraspinatus (major shoulder tendon) was re-attached. The following the bad pain has gone although I am always aware of the surgery. I rub it on my new knee replacement area and cover with a knee brace nd the heat generated provides me with some relief. I would recommend it wholeheartedly. The heat is somewhat toned down in the white cream version. The 'real' tiger balm (reddish in colour), I call it 'the with the nuts in' can be unbearable, especially on sensitive skin, so get the white cream version.
