Beats the gel packs hands down and do a phenomenal job cleaning
Seven years ago we had an issue with our dishwasher when we lived in Illinois. Could not get the thing to stop leaking foam out of the bottom seal. I called in a repair person, he said "show me your detergent". Told us to throw out the gel pods and use these. We never had a leak again - and he did nothing to fix the dishwasher. We moved to Florida. Finally bought a shiny new dishwasher about 6 months ago and why not, let's try the gel ones again. The only way they would clean the dishes and completely dissolve was to run it on the Heavy/Hottest cycle. Replaced those with these again...normal wash, normal cycle, no issues - and because we enjoy humidity, the way these are sealed means no matter what the temperature or humidity is in the house, they don't stick together. These are a winner and that box lasts forever. I will never switch again.

Plumber's Advice
Cleans very well and it's NOT wrapped in plastic that you put the plastic wrapped cube into the dishwasher. These cubes are wrapped in foil that you remove. I always buy these as a plumber told my friend: "Dishwasher soaps wrapped in plastic and you put the plastic wrapped soap cube into the dishwasher IS NOT good for the dishwasher." I have no problem removing the foil covering and placing JUST the cube into the dishwasher. I would much rather take the 5 seconds to remove the foil wrapping than pay a plumber to fix my dishwasher!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was so happy to find the "old" style dishwasher tablets. I'm not a fan of "pod" things. Some folks complained that they received crumbly ones, mine were in great shape.

Keep the machine clean
I like that the pre measured tabs are sealed in foil that does not go into the dishwasher.No problem with damp fingers getting them wet in the box, and more importantly no plastic to get left un dissolved in the dishwasher
