Good quality
I used these in conjunction with a kit to hang a sail to create a car port. They work really well keeping the lines tight. Made of good metal.

Use them to hold down 10x12 tent at farmers markets. On windy days they work well absorbing the shock from wind. Noticeably less noise and wear to tent. Secret is pretensioning — takes some trial and error. Will probably add turnbuckles next year.

Began to rust immediately! Notice the carabiner and cable are still spotless.

Overkill for my needs, but that doesn't make it a bad product.
If you're using these for an average camping tent, they're way too stiff. I think 100lb cord would snap before these compressed 50% -- and your tent is probably going to tear before that. So... pretty heavy duty. Good product, just not for what I was going to use them for. Probably more appropriate for something like a porch swing.

Perfect for sun sails.
Perfect for the hardware we bought here. They let the sails give and take without ripping or breaking off pole. We do these hanging jobs here in the neighborhood . Will buy again.
