Please read first. This product is great once it's put together. The written instructions are the worst however. But there is a great video on Youtube. Make sure to watch the entire video until the end before you assemble it. I became quite frustrated with having to unscrew nuts and screws to adjust it to my window situation more than once. The video helps. The assembly instructions deserve negative stars but once you set this up it's the best. Luckily it will be all ready for next year without having to assemble it again. Regardless of assembly I have to give this 5 stars. Great invention! I recommend buying it.

Took me a couple of hours to set up. Video instructions on youtube + paper instructions are not detailed enough but very happy that it doesn't require any drilling. Took several tries to find the correct fit but feels very sturdy.

The instructions kind of suck. The picture shows put in the arms on backwards so they don't lock into place and then the air conditioner tries to fall out the window I want you to swap the ends it works okay. I'm glad to see that the mentally a handicapped can find work but it really sucked when this thing almost fell out of my foot

The product arrived without instructions. The website was printed in very large letters on the shipping box so I tried that. That is not much help either. It instructed me to message them on Facebook Messenger. I did that on a Tuesday and by Saturday there was no response. There are no instructions on their website. There are the same bad videos. There are no labels of the parts on the YouTube videos but there are three types of screws and two types of nuts. No labels on the parts packaging. Very little narration. I'm a very handy person who usually does not need instructions and I am frustrated and stumped. I cannot recommend this product.I proceeded to try installing this in an aluminum framed window with the brackets inside the interior window trim. The interior frame of the window is about 1" high. I had to put lumber underneath it to not damage the window frame. This created all kinds of gaps for the hot exhaust air to return into my home and and for insects to enter.First they have you measure the depth of your window. Then you attach the feet. The 3rd step is to attach the exterior legs with the rotating padded feet. This requires holding up the leg while you fasten the bolts with a wrench on the exterior and a socket on the interior. However, they do not have you set the length properly - simply shows attaching it at the end. The legs do not even come close to touching the exterior wall of my home. The bracket is sitting the entire weight of a 12000btu AC on my aluminum window frame that is bending under the weight.I cannot recommend this product.

Our house is a cape cod style with the roof right under the window. We had to put the legs on the farthest out bolt hole and it worked! This is a 10,000btu unit in a small window and there's plenty of room left

The media could not be loaded. I bought one of these drill less air conditioner support brackets from two separate brands here on Amazon. And even though the first one/not this one was hard to figure out how to put it together as the instructions were almost completely not existent. This one didn’t come with all the pieces needed but instead with unusable pieces. So if you’re like me when you go to do a project that is the time to get it done. Well I had to go to two stores over two days and get assistance from two different men one at each store to try & help me find this exact item that wasn’t enough put in the packaging. So of course the window to work on this more got crushed for several more weeks and stuff moved around or gets put a top of the still left pieces to get the job done. So just on that factor I’m disappointed in this bracket even though it seems like to like the better bracket and has more ways to see how to put it together with their video. Yet you’re at my level of handyman, you will be stopping, pausing, rewinding over & over again to see what the guy is doing in the assembly & installation example video. So I might feel less irritated once I get this put in the window finally after I get back to watching this video again and finding all the rest of the pieces hopefully still in the area I left them. I’m going to take a picture of the two different types of pieces together. The one on the left I have found a use for yet as it hasn’t fit anywhere up to the almost last stages and the one on the right is the one I didn’t have enough of and I went & got 5 more hopefully what will be enough. Somebody at this company will probably defend their product and it’s supplies but I cant say a novice would agree. And really most of us putting this kind of things together are novices.

Works for an 1800" brick building 9 in thick ext. brick /plaster wall with old style wood frames window casment and newly installed vinyl only one I could find to work in my situation good luck
