Ecover Oven & Hob Cleaner Spray, Cuts through Grease, Grime And Burnt Food, Fresh Jasmine & Mandarin Scent 1 x 500ml

I really rate this. My husband and I spent a gruelling 2 hours cleaning an oven we'd let get pretty grim. We're currently in the delusional "we'll never let it get that bad again" stage and bought this stuff. I'm amazed how we'll it cuts through grease. I even used it on some stubborn bits, but it's just so easy to use and wipe away (leaves a few streaks, but I just finish off with dish soap and water). It's eco and cruelty-free credentials are what made me buy it, but I'll be rebuying it because it's just a very good cleaner. Don't understand the comments re fragrance, it's lovely - these people have clearly forgotten the toxic fumes emitted by most oven cleaners 🤣.

Wasn't too keen on the scent, but I am fussy. Hope they can bring a citrus type scent in to compliment this. The amount of grease it manage to rinse away from the air fryer was brilliant. Just spray it on, wait a few minutes then wipe off. I used kitchen roll, but you could always use a dishcloth and rinse it. Reduced my oven back to the grey metal, still have to work on a few stubborn marks but that won't take long. Also sprayed it on the mesh inserts, which I put in my sink, then poured boiling hot water on them. Scrubbed away after a few minutes and the residue came off easily. It is a repeat order for me already. Recommend.

I decided to try this Ecover oven and hob cleaner on my Miele combination steam oven after discovering how excessively pricy the Miele equivalent product is. It works as effectively and doesn't seem to damage the expensive ceramic coating on the stainless oven internals. It is a comparative bargain. My problem with the product is the excessively pungent perfumed smell. Ecover claim this product has 'better grease removal vs our previous formula and a fresh new fragrance guaranteed not to take your breath away.' Sorry Ecover but it does. I have to purge this pungent smell before I use the oven to cook food. Quite why anyone would want their oven to smell like this is beyond me!
