Very good product.
I have had this airfryer for nearly a year. My niece talked me into buying one but I was unsure how much use I would get out of it. I have not used my oven in all that time as this airfryer is large enough to cook a large chicken to perfection. It is much quicker to cook than in my oven so is energy efficient. It is easy to clean. All in all great value for money.

Great.
So far I’ve cooked bacon, chicken and part baked bread rolls in it. So far so good 👍The skin on sausages turns out a bit tough though. It’s really easy to use and simple to clean. No grease splashes anymore. The basket is a perfect size , not too big or too small. It’s well worth the money.

Excellent all round
Had this for a good while now, almost 2 years. It's a fantastic air fryer, very quiet in comparison to other models I've had, holds an XL chicken and gives superb results. Wouldn't be without it.

Not so easy to see the buttons
This is a very good airfryer and I can recommend but it has a couple of things that could be better. The buttons are not very responsive ( they don't like my thumb at all) and are a bit slow. Also the illumination of the buttons is not great in a bright room. That said it is easy to use and gives excellent results. Bacon turns out really good. Some of the presets are not the correct time/temp and there is no way to reset them so we only use the temp and time settings.

Highly Recommend it!
Finally after two years of procrastinating, finally purchased this Airfryer. It looks so nice, is a a bit big but fits a decent amount of food on the inside. So makes prepping a meal for a family 4 easy, even if in batches (2 adults, 2 young children). It is definitely like a small oven as mentioned in other comments. It cooks faster than an oven which makes eating healthy or prepping a quick healthy meal way much easier. It comes with an app that has loads of recipes and ideas and so easy to use. I think this is great as the app can be updated from time to time. Recipes include nutritional info too.As others mentioned, if it should have had a manual too. Some people might find it easier to read. There’s a leaflet included which demonstrates a bit about the Airfryer for safety reasons. But still that won’t put off how amazing this Fryer is.It doesn’t make a disturbing noise at all. Very quite and releases a bit of steam from them back. It does beep when food is ready. All in all so happy with it, I can even toast bread in it and prepare loads of delicious healthy meals not only things that require frying, and been using it daily.

Good quality
Impressed with the fried food. This is the first air fryer I have. Using multifunction device with air fry function before, but the quality with this air fryer is much better! Happy purchase experience.

I like Philips
This is a quite, easy to clean and efficient Airfryer. We had the Avence XL prior to this model which was difficult to clean. We find Philips have made improvements in this model, mainly how easy it is to clean. This model was preferred over a Cosori Airfryer.I found the Cosori unable to cook/apply the high temperature stated on the display. This translates to longer cooking times, which means frozen fries end up soggy or dry because of the low heat and time. However if its a slow cooking item (raw chicken) then its fine. This Philips Essential model handles the frozen fryers and other frozen item like chicken nuggets, fish fingers as it should do, resulting in a crispy finish. Which may be due to its vortex heat distribution.Basket is lightweight detachable and a breeze to clean. We dilute washing liquid in a used bottle of bathroom spray and keep it next to the sink. Nice and efficient!
