Perfect for Summer Use with My Portable AC!
I picked up this Aqua-Tainer to use as a water collection tank for the condensation from my portable air conditioner, and it’s been a fantastic solution. The size is perfect—large enough to hold a good amount of water but still manageable to move around.Pros:Spacious Yet Compact: The 7-gallon capacity is more than enough to handle several days' worth of condensation from my AC unit, even during the hottest days of summer. Despite its capacity, the container doesn’t take up too much space and is easy to store or transport.Durable and Sturdy: The rigid design feels really solid. I’ve been using it all summer long, and it’s held up without any issues. No leaks, and the material feels like it’s built to last.Easy to Handle: Even when full, it’s easy enough to carry and empty, thanks to the handle on the side. The spout is also really handy for controlled pouring.Multi-Purpose: Though I’m currently using it to collect water from my AC, this container would also be perfect for camping or emergency water storage. Its versatility is a big plus.Cons:Spout Design: The spout works well but could be a bit easier to open and close, especially when it’s full. It’s a minor issue, though, and doesn’t take away from the overall usefulness of the container.Final Thoughts: This Aqua-Tainer is exactly what I needed for water collection, and it exceeded my expectations. It’s durable, easy to use, and holds a great amount of water without being too bulky. Whether you’re using it for camping, emergency water storage, or like me, as a water tank for a portable air conditioner, it’s a solid choice. Highly recommend!

Great water jug for the price.
Great water container for camping. Went down to the Delaware shore campground and filled this from the local stop and shop which had a purified water dispenser. The container is nice and thick, it's got it's own water spout and holds 7 gallons which was more than enough for the 3 nights I was camping for. I would definitely recommend for those who need to carry potable water on their camping trips or any long distance travels.

Perfect portable water solution
We were looking for a portable water container to use outside—whether we’re working in the garage, garden, or anywhere without access to running water. This Reliance Aqua-Tainer has been fantastic! The 7-gallon capacity is just right—large enough to provide plenty of water, but still easy to carry and move around. It’s durable, the spigot works great, and it stores neatly when not in use.Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable, sturdy water source for outdoor projects, camping, or emergencies!

Really good water container in terms of value for your money
After a bit of an ATV mishap, we decided to purchase these in order to have at least one in each of our ATVs. I wanted something around 5 gallons, and I like that this holds a little more. It's a little on the thin side compared to others I've purchased in the past, but I expected that based on the price. For the cost, it's definitely worth it, however--you won't feel like you've wasted you're money. It's very easy to use the spigot if that's your preference. And I love the square design (rather than a round water container) as it can be pushed into a corner and easily secured so it won't tip over. I'm very glad we purchased these for all our ATVs and we also have a couple filled and ready to go behind our house (we live in a high fire zone, so it's nice to know we've got water we can grab and go with).

Good Price per Volume; Needs better Spigot/Caps
+4 stars for: price ($17); volume for stowing/moving; function-they do the job; quality-decent, reliable build.-1 star for over designed and terrible spigot design.I purchased 4 of these for my family of 3 +pets living in a small condo. I read about the leaking issues and as expected, all leaked from the small venting cap and 3 leaked from the spigot caps. I'd like to describe more detail on the issue, since it wasn't clear to me from the reviews:Both the small venting cap, and the large fill cap do have a compression gasket (essentially a flat compressible rubber pad that the opening of the container presses against. For the small venting cap, simply tightening them down a little harder seals them pretty well. I added teflon to these threads to be sure and have had no further issues with the venting cap.Although the large fill cap has a compression ring where the container seals against the cap, it also has a center hole going through it where a reversible spigot can be threaded. This center screw hole has absolutely no mechanism to prevent leaking except its own plastic threads. The spigot also has a less likely path for water to escape since it is essentially an on/off valve and the valve can be imperfect. I added teflon to the center spigot screw threads and this eliminated leaking from this location, but it still doesn't prevent water from leaking via the on/off valve. One of my containers continued to have a very slight drip leak and I suspect the valve. The seal is sufficient that I'm not worried about contamination, but I would NOT trust storing these any way other than the caps/spigots facing up. As others have mentioned, this requires a few extra inches of headroom, which can be a real problem for some given that you can NOT stack these, hence storage must be with these sitting adjacent to each other.I don't know why they wouldn't just manufacture these with a simple solid cap (no spigot). I can always attach a spigot cap when I'm ready to use the water. But for the months of storage, I'd rather have a more reliable seal. I will update here if I locate any replacement caps. For now, I'm going to be storing these face up.

Great for being prepped for storms and power outages.
Great for a few days of water, this is my sixth one, they stack on top of each other (wouldn't recommend more than 2 high) and even with 60lbs of water, they are tough and don't flex too much. I just have to wash & sterilize them very well before use. The spigot is a nice feature too.
