These are good anchovies. I bring them to restaurants to add to my salads

Flavorful and a great size for salads and cooking. Easy to smash with a fork for other recipes like sauces and Caesar dressing. Opening them can sometimes be a mess. I have found that I need to hold them over the sink and open them very slowly or the oil flies often on my shirt. Nice smell that is not too strong and they are not too salty as some can be.

Reasonable price, good taste, this is my third order of them in bulk. Use in salads, or just on some sourdough bread, great snack, as long as you're ok with the high sodium content, but that's true of all canned anchovies I've ever come across.

If you can get over the strong fish smell, this type of fish is supposed to be nutritious. But, with this particular product, it feels like you are eating a pound of salt in every can… not so delish… even less nutrish….Would NOT recommend it.

While these anchovies are good, as good as any except fresh, they lose a star because once opened, the can can't be reclosed, so you need another receptacle for the unused anchovies. But, if you have a small jar (I use a mustard jar), you're in luck, because then you can put the leftover anchovies in the jar with some truffle scented olive oil, and later they will add wonderful flavor to your salads.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Had a date last evening and he had said he likes anchovies on pizza and no pizza place around offers them any more.So I made 2 homemade pizzas one traditional anchovy pizza and the other one loaded. I made lots of points with those!!!

Go to staple for traditional Caesar Salad or a good way to jazz up a pizza.Can has about 12 fillets.Aquired taste but worth stocking in your pantry
