Need it to never move again? This works.
So far so good. My biggest issue was that the first order I placed ended up delayed due to too many people buying this tape. So, here's the thing. PAY ATTENTION TO THE DIRECTIONS AND KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. This stuff is going no where without ripping something off. Plastic, paint, whatever. Put this where you want it to be for good.SECOND THING. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURFACES. I see too many poor reviews of people crying that it doesn't work, yet they clearly tried to use it on a VERY uneven and pourace surface. DO NOT DO THAT. If you have texture on your walls? You're gunna have a bad time. FLAT SURFACES WORK BEST FOR ALL TYPES OF DOUBLE SIDED TAPE, end of story. This stuff works well, and once it sets, it's going no where.

This would stick air to water.
This tape is no joke. I used it in the shower to help secure a Kohl’s Windet to the wall since I didn’t want to drill into the tile. The Kohler came with 3M tape which was a failure. Gorilla double face is the real deal. It gets wet every day. No issues here.

Amazing product!
Amazing! This tape is the strongest I have ever tried. Works great for wall hangings or bonding 2 items together. In my case I had a piece of trim loose on my car. I tried several other bonding methods, non worked except for this. Highly recommend!

Strong, but not really Gorilla strong
The tape is strong, just not strong enough like other Gorilla products that I am familiar with. It is easy to cut, and has fast adhesion, but it is too easy to remove. It can hold about 7 Lbs of vertical weight over a smooth, non-porous surface. However, most homes do not have a smooth drywall surface, there are always slight imperfections. I wanted to hold cable/wire channels upside down in my multimedia center, and the drywall has flat textures. This thing would not hold until I applied a slight coat of isopropyl to melt the glue while I held it in place for a few seconds until it dried. In my experience, it does not hold vertical weight (ceiling drop) greater than 8ozOverall, this is an easy-to-use product that will do the job. Do not use it on a glass surface or smooth marble or granite, you will regret it! It will stick strongly, and you might need to use a sharp blade to scrape the leftovers after removing.

Mounted Ring doorbell on textured brick just fine
Like many people, I didn't want to drill into the brick to mount my Ring Doorbell Plus (HOA, lease restrictions, not comfortable using power tools, etc). I have a Doorbell Plus and initially bought a clamp mount. It was very secure but did not give me the viewing ability I needed. My house is brick. I read many comments on social media that no-drill camera mounts do not adhere well to textured brick (Some brick is very smooth). Many mount and 2-sided adhesive product descriptions also warned that the products will not stick securely to textured surfaces. The research to find a good option gave me a headache. I was quite frustrated because I needed the camera due a safety issue. I needed to act quickly. I took a chance and ordered this Gorilla 2-sided tape.It rained the day the tape arrived and overnight, so I waited 2 days to allow drying as the rainfall was heavy and the brick wall got soaked. I ordered this in early June and I live in the South (humid as heck).First, I cleaned the brick surface with isopropyl alcohol twice and let it dry. (I did this while doing other stuff so my total drying time was about 2 hours. I don't think anyone would need to wait that long given how isopropyl evaporates). The Ring no-drill mount comes with 2-sided tape. I added strips of the Gorilla tape in-between the original tape, in the center of the mount plate (I think 2 strips). Per instructions, apply the tape vertically. I saw many comments by people who said they had a hard time getting the tape backing off. I did not. I ordered razor blades as a few people recommended in anticipation of difficulty. I have very short nails and was able to remove the backing without frustration. Fairly easy. I didn't need to use a blade.I pressed the mount plate on the brick for a few minutes. I waited 36 hours before securing the camera. Thankfully, it did not rain during that time.Almost two months later, after rain, hail, humidity from hell, and heat index advisories, the mount is still secure on the textured brick wall. I am pleased with the Gorilla tape. A great option for someone who did not want to drill into the brick, could not remember where her drill was and really did not want to be bothered hunting around for it.Additional info:In some DIY forums I read that people use a hair dryer to warm 2-sided tape before mounting to increase adhesion. I forgot to do this but am sharing in case someone finds the tip useful. I also read that this tape is removable using fishing line and a solvent to remove residue (have to research to find the best removal agent option that won't damage the surface you're working with).
