How to make it REALLY stick
I really love this tape. I use it in industrial type situations all the time for different things and it holds up amazingly well. Recently I created a battery bank for a UPS and taped the batteries into a set so I could slide them in. It gets hot in that UPS regularly sitting at over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for years at a time, and this tape doesn't miss a beat. The set of batteries I pulled out from 2 years ago also had this tape on them and they were stuck together like new. No issues.I have even used these to tape down solar panels to the roof of one of my trailers and they haven't moved an inch. Here are some pro-tips to get this to stick to its highest potential:1. Prep. Yes, we all know it's a time vampire, but if you prep the surface correctly, it WILL stick like you won't believe. Not only should you clean the surface with soap and water and get all the gunk off, the real trick is right before you apply the tape, shoot it down with some denatured alcohol. Give the alcohol a minute or two to dry and stick this tape on. The alcohol removes all the contaminants from the surface and gives you pristine sticking power. The difference it makes is amazing.2. Cut an extra length to hang off each side because you're going to get fingerprints/oils/dirt on the very end of the tape. It's just a reality and what you do is leave yourself a half inch or so on each side and then trim it back with a razor blade when done and you'll keep that perfect bond.3. When trying to start pulling off the strip on the second side, use the edge of a razor blade or exacto knife or something to get underneath and lift (Don't pry... lift) and you'll be able to get it off without munging the end. If you followed step 2, you'll cut off the end where you might have made little marks with the razor blade anyway, and everything will be nice and clean and stick for a long time, in all kinds of adverse conditions.4. For the super paranoid, if you're using in particularly harsh or outdoor environments, run a bead of silicon over the mating surface edge after you've given this stuff time to set and you'll find that no water can intrude (even though it says waterproof, what no proof it some more?) and it will hang on to the surface for a very long time, even under reasonable load. This is some of best stuff you can buy, I use it any time I have a "Must hold" situation.I hope you found this helpful

Easy to use
This is used to stick skateboard tape to a handle that gets lots of heavy grip use. The skateboard tape doesn't stick well enough and is not durable. So I used this double sided tape. It does the job very well under a real test of vigorous use.

High quality tape, very difficult to remove backing
This is a very high quality adhesive. I used it to place some acoustic panels on a concrete wall. The porous surface made it difficult for other adhesives to stick. But this tape has worked great for more than a year. When I had to remove it from the wall it did not rip the paint or left residue. The only issue which I don’t think is a deal breaker is that the red backing is fairly difficult to remove. My recommendation is to place the tape on the item and leave it for a while. Also using some fine tweezers helps because you can grab a corner and quickly rip it off which is better than slowly peeling it in my experience.

Good but not that good
Good, but I really doubt it's 3M. It's sticky, but when it gets right down to it, my old 3M (same size) double sided foam tape this is about 10yrs old still holds better than this does. I would have given it 5 stars, but it's not that sticky like my old tape. But still good for most use.

So Far, So Good!
Needed something that wouldn’t melt into a gooey mess the moment the sun hits my car dashboard. So far, this double-sided tape is holding strong—literally and figuratively. It sticks well, seems tough, and installation was pretty painless. The backing is a little finicky (like trying to peel a stubborn sticker off a new phone), but the included tool made it way easier. The bond feels solid. Now we wait for tomorrow's solar oven test when the sun comes out and turns my car into a rolling sauna. If it survives that, I’ll consider it dashboard-approved.If I run into any issues, I’ll update this review. Otherwise, assume it passed the heat test with flying colors and is officially awesome.

Ill keep searching for better
I had high hopes for this double-sided heavy-duty tape, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its claims for my intended purpose. I purchased it specifically to attach a mount to the side of my helmet, but it failed to provide the strength and durability needed to hold the mount securely in place.**Performance:**While the tape initially seemed promising, with a strong adhesive and decent thickness, it simply wasn’t capable of handling the curved surface and weight of the mount. Despite thorough surface preparation and following the application instructions, it didn’t stick well enough to inspire confidence, and the mount detached after minimal use.**Durability and Versatility:**This tape might work better for lighter, flat surfaces, but it’s not ideal for demanding applications or uneven textures like a helmet. The claim of heavy-duty strength and versatility feels overstated based on my experience.**Repurposing:**Since it couldn’t handle the original job, I’ve relegated the tape to a spot in my desk drawer, where it now sits unused among pens and pencils. While disappointing for my initial project, I imagine it might find use for small, less critical fixes around the house someday.**Final Thoughts:**If you’re considering this tape for a task requiring high strength or adhesion on irregular surfaces, I’d advise looking elsewhere. While it might be fine for lightweight projects or flat surfaces, it did not meet expectations for anything more demanding. For me, it’s a product that failed its main test and now serves as an unlikely addition to my stationary supplies.
