Nice lightweight set and a pretty pattern
I ordered these plates because I needed a change. My previous dinnerware was old and outdated and I was looking for something fresh. I hand was all my dishes (yes no dishwasher in this day & age if you can believe that!) so my old set took up a lot of room in the drain board and eventually broke one of the steel brackets that holds the plates in place to dry. Plus my old ones were heavy and getting to be too much for me to take out more than 2 dishes at a time. I’ve always loved the Corelle brand and how lightweight they are. So I ordered this set of 6. The pattern is so pretty and not overpowering, which I like. The dishes are super light and thin so I can actually fit a lot more in my cabinet than my previous set. I’m thinking I may order either an additional set of 4 or just see if I can buy one off pieces of 2 of each item to make a set of 8. They didn’t sell this pattern in a set of 8 and were sold out of the set of 4. I do think the appetizer plates are a bit small and wish they would have sold the set with just the sandwich plates instead. If I feel I use the appetizer plates more than I thought I would I might just see if I can order the sandwich plates to add to the set. I also plan on looking to see if they have serving platters & bowls to add as well. Since they were on a limited deal special I couldn’t beat the price. Overall I’m super happy with the set and glad I ordered them.

Corelle is always fabulous! Great everyday dishes.
These dishes are lovely. Corelle is always good quality, easy to clean, wears well, lightweight, and sturdy. They are the best everyday dishes and I’ve owned several sets over the years. I was thrilled to find this pattern because it goes with some cafe curtains I just put up in my kitchen. I appreciate that they did not come with cups and saucers, which just end up taking up space as I don’t use them often. This pattern has a bonus in that you could use them for Christmas or Valentine’s Day dinners (but they don’t really look like holiday dishes). They’re affordable enough that if you get tired of the pattern after a few years you could buy a different set. The only drawback (for some) is that the bowls are just regular size, so if you enjoy eating a humongous bowl of soup or cereal, they may not be the best option for you. I do wish they came in service for four or eight. I really only need eight, but they’re sold in service for six, so I bought two and now have service for 12. 🤷🏻♀️

Simple, functional, durable
These are simple, functional dishes. We've owned them is the past and they are very durable. We gave our first set to grandkids. We recently bought them again because my wife wanted some lighter (less heavy) dishes. I wish they had come with a set of 9-inch plates; we use that size a lot.

Best brand there is
Growing up my mom had a Correlle set. I have tried many others and nothing compared to Corelle. These are very hard to break. I love this design! This set stacks together nicely and helps save space and stay organized. My only complaint is their bowls are on the smaller side, wish they were a little bigger.I highly recommend these!

Good for a lifetime of daily use!
We bought our first Corelle Vitrelle Winter Frost dishware about 30 years ago and have been pleased that this minimalist pattern has always been readily available when I needed to add to my collection. As grandchildren became more numerous we've had to expand our collection. 30 years later the new pieces are still identical to the originals. As they say, if it works, don't fix it. It is also easy to match with other manufacturer's white ware if you need an item Corelle doesn't make such as a lazy Susan for veggie trays and dip and other oddities. My wife and I have been through numerous sets of glass drinkware because we can be quite clumsy however we've never had to replace a single Corelle dish due to wear or breakage. Tough as nails and the oldest dishes still look as new as recent purchases.

Durable, microwave safe, brand has been and is still used by multiple generations of our family.
Nice and sturdy plates. Both my and my spouse's family have multiple generations using corolla plates and theyre rather durable. They're more likely to chip than shatter, and would have to have a fair bit of force behind the drop to shatter, or would have to fall a rather long distance.Leftover food rinses or wipes off easily, theyre dishwasher safe (though we still prefer to hand wash), microwave safe. They're a manageable size. Standard average size for a standard average serving. They'll be a little more expensive than cheap plates you can get from retail stores, but they hold up better, last longer, and you donr have to worry about them shattering or warping in the microwave. Worth the price. The only issue we noticed is one of our dinner plates and one of our snack sized plates/saucers, have a slight, small discoloration on the bottom, like something bled under the glaze... but both of which, the discoloration is very small, only about the size of the very tip (end) of a cotton swab, its on the bottom so its barely noticble... and irs only noticeable because the plate is white. Any other color and it wouldn't have shown up.Functionality wise... these are more of dinner table plates than lap plates if you have anything with juices in your meal (canned veggies, meat juices, etc.) The outer ring does have a slight angle to it, but they do not have raised/walled sides round contain liquids well.

I'll never go back to regular dishes
As a first-time Corelle Ware user, I'm genuinely impressed and they've quickly earned a solid five stars in my book. Their incredible durability is what truly sets them apart. I've already dropped these dishes more times than I care to admit, and they somehow remain intact – a godsend for any busy household. I was worried about chipping or breaking, but these things are tough!Beyond toughness, they're incredibly practical. Lightweight and compact, they save cabinet space and move seamlessly from microwave to table to dishwasher. They're also remarkably easy to clean and I've noticed they never stain or hold odors, which is a huge plus.
