EnconaCarolina Reaper Chilli Sauce (2x142ml) and Mini Tabasco (3.7ml)

So no doubt the burning (sorry!) question will be, is this sauce crazy hot? The answer is yes. It’s very hot. However, the blend of ingredients actually make this one of the more palatable and tasty reaper sauces. Generally, in my experience, reaper sauces are ridiculous and the agonising pain of the heat takes away from the actual plan of having a spicy and tasty meal. I mean, it depends what you’re doing with it. I often put a splash into chilli of course, or in to baked beans to give them a mean after kick. This is a good sauce for that, it blends well and gives the kick you want without the tears and agony. Granted, too much of this will leave you with ring sting which I can only liken to a dragons nostril. However, used sensibly and with caution it’s actually a nice tangy addition to most things. Even cheese on toast with a splash of this is good, or good old 3 egg omelettes. Just remember the rules - short controlled bursts. If you guzzle at this and throw it around like a cheap ketchup you’re going to pay a heavy price and most likely end up with a rusty sherifs badge like a lit cigarette end, beads of regretful sweat and real tears.Added info; this sauce is 99p a bottle in Tesco

Enough spice for a pleasant warmth and better still not horribly sour like most hot sauces. If you're looking to blow your socks off then this isn't for you. Stick to Crazy Mental Super Lunatic Hot Death Sauce, this stuff is for putting on your chicken nuggets 👍

Considering this is supposedly made from the hottest chilli in the world, it's not that hot. Lovely flavour on it which I like (heat for heat's sake is stupid) bit if you want it HOT this isn't the right sauce for you. You need a surprising amount of it to feel any warmth.

Not very hot at all! Very strong cumin taste, if you prefer that flavour.Not like the regular encona West Indian style sauce.This is Similar to a chip shop curry sauce that is more spicy.Encona standard extra hot sauce is much hotter than this.Don't be fooled by the carolina reaper description. Not to my liking, I won't be purchasing this again.Try the Chilli Mash Co. Carolina Reaper Sauce, a very nice natural sauce (no artificial anything) with excellent heat, and not too much acidity.

This a very hot sauce, but the flavour is outstanding.My mum does not like the hot stuff, unlike me, yet mum likes the flavour, just a touch in mayo or a pasta sauce. or many other dishes. This is a great chilli sauce if you know chilli sauce.Would recommend with caution.We love it at home.pstaylor.

You can normally buy Encona Carribean sauce between £1 to 2. So paying £7.91 is quite steep. Sauce is Hot, but not eyes watering hot.Flavour is very nice, but not £7.00 nice

It’s a shame Tesco stopped selling this sauce for £1 a bottle. Here is the cheapest I could find it elsewhere. Definitely worth buying but it’s more for the flavour than the spice. It’s not as spicy as you would expect but the flavour is delicious.
