Osmo Wood Wax Finish Extra Thin - 1101 Clear - .125 Liter

we bought this on the recommendation of the distributor, and are glad we did. We had planned to use the PolyX (which we still did) but the distributor recommended one coat of this extra thin underneath 2 coats of the PolyX. It really did bring a depth to the grain, and its design is to penetrate deeper into the wood to help protect it more. I only just applied it last weekend, so we don't yet know about durability. but ease of application and look / feel at this point are on point !this 1101 is very different from the 3043. Much thinner, and in a smaller container. For the 1101, we poured out of the can and into a tray, and then used a white pad to apply to the wood. rubbed it in really good all over, and then came back after a half hour and wiped / buffed it off using a clean dry rag. All in all, very easy to apply. Low odor. But this 1101 does not cover nearly as widely as does the 3043. Our wood slab is 7' long, and averages just over 2.5' wide. This little can of 1101 was just enough for one coat on the top and all 4 sides of my slab - not the bottom face. This is fine, as its just the bottom and I don't mind skipping straight to the 3043 there.can't wait to see how this wears over time. Definitely recommend Osmo products and will be using again.

To be honest, I'm not sure I would use this on a large piece of furniture just because of the cost. However, it's a nice enough piece of furniture I would be hesitant to skimp on the finish. This finish is excellent. It soaks into the wood nicely (there are different thicknesses). And it leaves a really nice finish to it.

I am a rookie woodworker. Finishes can easily ruin a lot of hard work. I tried Osmo Wood Wax for the first time on this birdseye maple pen box. This stuff is amazingly easy to use and really brings out the grain. Osmo will be my go-to finish from now on.

Probably a really good finish. I wouldn't know, however, as I returned this thimble full of finish after I received it, since I was building 2 human size nightstands, and not a dollhouse sized one.

The oil-wax arrived three days earlier than projected and has stood up to the advertised properties. I would recommend this to anyone and shall probably buy more as I require it.

It did a great job for what I was using it for, smooth shinny finish.

Kind of my fault, but the product you receive will be a sample size. Not enough to test out and do a project. I should have noticed the decimal point in front of the 125 Liter. Could be a good product, but the quantity in the can is not enough to find out. Seller should clearly state "sample size"
