The best read. Recommended..
I am reading this book on Kindle, and must say it is the best book I hv read so far.It gives you a clear view of how your body works on physical, mental and emotional level and gives you a sense of responsibility towards yourself. It scares you on some level as how granted we take ourselves on daily basis.I insist everyone should read it.It is highly recommended and a good gift idea as well.

This is a wonderful undertaking of distilling the ancient and vast knowledge of the wise sages in ayurvedic wellness into a concise and practical book discussing and breaking down the physical, mental, emotional bodies in a succinct and clear way! Awesome!

Simple and Lucid
I have read every book written by the author after reading his autobiography. I have read many other good books on Ayurveda and holistic healing .It is a general book which explains the concept of Ayurveda in easy and lucid language .It would create interest in the mind of the reader to explore more of Ayurveda and how to adapt to it .More important , it is written by a well renowned living saint who has become youth icon for abdicating his life of an IT expert and lavish lifestyle and plunging into monkhood and has mastered so many practices/sidhis of tantra and yoga but has remained humble and grounded unlike other so called modern saints.Therefore , the contents of the book ,though available in other ayurvedic books , will have more acceptability among readers, especially among modern youth, due to its author .

I was looking for a book on health and came across this one. I found Little heavy to understand but I completed this. It has all Ayurveda background for health anyone is looking. The therapies given in book are simple to follow and very very helpful to keep your health in good condition. Reader actually get a good sense to keep himself / herself well.Again its amazing to see Swami ji write book on a subject which is not on spiritual path. Of course if you follow what has been written in book, you are already on spiritual journey and half way through. :)

A Great book by a great writer
I have read many books on health topics, this is really one of best book on health subject like other books by swami Ji. The way he puts so much knowledge in his books with utmost honesty and so much in depth knowledge, I salute him.I was chronic patient of stomach issues and just his one staement in his book - "cleaning your colon with water" has removed my problems in one go.Hats off to Swami ji and looking forward to your upcoming book on Parenting.

A very practical guide to well being
This book will wake you up, literally! We have never been thought how to look after ourselves, all the years of organised pedagogy and all we learnt is some fit for nothing chemistry formulas and wonderful but really-what’s-the-point history. Personal well being from all three angles of physical, mental and emotional is so well covered in this book. It needs to be read, applied, re-read and applied further. Strongly recommend this book for anyone who wants to get started with the basics of Ayurveda, but not just walk away with the deep science with no practical guide to apply the knowledge in day today life. It is written in simple English, easy to understand, structured in short chapters with a very good flow from one to another. There may be some areas where the Ayurvedic science behind something could have been explained further and more elaborately. For instance, rather than saying “eating A will cause B in your body” the author could have gone in more detail to elucidate the reason why. But a curious mind can always read from other sources to further their understanding. Very good book for beginners and everyone should get a copy!

If your priority is "Health" read this one book!!!
Om Swamiji has made an excellent contribution on the subject of "Health" by writing this book. He is well informed and has done lot of research to write this book. I really appreciate all your effort, it has definitely served the purpose. If you are one who is trying very hard to stay healthy and confused as to which system to follow, what to eat, what not to eat and whose advise to follow, then this book is for you, if you read this one book you and your family can stay healthy forever. Everyone should read this book and try to inculcate as much as possible in their daily lives.Stay healthy and happy reading!!!

A good read
The book effectively explains Ayurveda for a common man to understand. The author is honest and sincere about the insights he shares. There is truth in whatever is written in the book as it somehow resonats with something deep within me or rather within all of us.

I think it's a brilliant book which fully justifies the title .. Everything has been presented in a simple manner which is easy to relate & understand. Many of my thought processes have changed & am now inspired to do some more significant changes to my lifestyle & even spread the knowledge around..

Wonderful and informative book about our body and health.
This book tells about how to eat good food, which suits our body. Some ayurvedic principles clearly said. A broad description about the (Vada, Pitta and Kapha) provided in basic examples, which can be understood by everyone. I have started following the food types and eating methods.

A holistic guide for wellness
I have never come across a single book that combines the tenets of Yoga and Ayurveda to paint one complete picture. Om swami does that beautifully in this book. He describes the philosophy behind the ancient sciences in an extremely simple yet powerful language and still manages to keep it practical. Every word is so carefully chosen that it leaves no ambiguity in the minds of the reader. I really admire swami ji’s writing.

Amazing book!!
I suggest everyone - yes, everyone - should read this book once. It would serve as a user manual to understand how our physical body (the machine) functions and a ready reckoner for maintaining the body, mind and soul in perfect health!! Thank you so much Om Swami for this gem of a book!! 🙏

The essence of Ayurveda
An excellent book, recommended for all who want to understand the essence of Ayurveda. The book mostly flows well, if I have to nit pick, the early part of the book could have a little more dwell or some reiteration for the lay reader to absorb the basics.To be fair to the author, he does advice to take the book in small bits and absorb the concepts.I would strongly advice that approach to the readers.

Are you upset?
Simple language and a very powerful message! Surely alters your way of life for the better. I would recommend this to all who are interested in a natural way of life. I chose to give it a 5 plus rating as its a compete book without going too much into technical language and relates to daily life.
