Great bag for my DIY gravity filter system. Awesome customer service!
I bought this to replace a heavy Dromedary bag to lighten my load. The bag is easy to fill and use, it has filtered a lot of water on several Scout outings. It rolls up small, is light and does it's job very well.I tried using it to carry 'dirty' water on a dry section of a backpack outing and discovered that it had a very tiny pinhole leak near the top. This is something that would go unnoticed while filtering since the hole would be above the water line.I called Cnoc and and was absolutely blown away by their customer service! I explained the problem and was told 'no problem, we'll get a replacement in the mail to you right away'!That's what customer service is all about!I will be buying more of these and can highly recommend this water container!

Super good product!
This was on sale and I jumped on it. I think it was being discontinued. In any case, I've used this now for several years and it is great! It's larger than some, which is good when it's a while between water sources. It's so durable that I can strap it to the outside of my backpack and haul that extra water weight to my home away from home for the night. With a couple smart water bottles and this, I have precious hydration to spare!I highly recommend this product!

Convenient vessel for water
I've been using this as the "dirty" water end of my backpacking water filtration system.I love the wide opening end, which makes it easy to fill from a variety of water sources (creeks, springs, etc...).I've had difficulty with similar bags that have had only the "bottle neck" opening in shallow streams and similarly weak water sources, where I needed something else to serve as a "scoop" to fill them. This bag just works without anything extra. The thick yet flexible material seems to be quite durable, and isn't prone to cracking like some of the more rigid plastic bags that come with some filters. Further, the locking mechanism on the wide end gives me confidence to carry this inside my pack without fear of leaking. The "bottle neck" end is compatible with the Hydroblu VersaFlow filter threads. If I had to come up with a complaint, I would say that it could use some kind of tether for the "bottle neck" cap, as I do worry about losing the cap.

Seems good.
Initially cleaned and filled. Seems good.Would feel 100x better if it did not say made in China on it. I know, every thing is. But I always wonder if slave Uigher labor is being used.

Exactly what I was looking for backpacking
A friend of mine had the 2L version of this bag when we backpacked some the Ouachita Trail in late 2019. I liked his system for collecting and filtering water, which uses the CNOC bag for collecting water and feeding it through a filter. When we returned, I went looking for a 2L bag and found the 3L bag on great sale. I decided to try the 3L bag out on our recent backpacking trip on the Lone Star Hiking Trail in Texas. The 3L bag worked perfectly. I do not usually need to collect and filter 3L, but I could if I wanted to. For example if I were collecting water for both myself and a fellow traveler. In reality, I only had to collect 2L and it worked just fine for that.A couple of general notes relevant to the CNOC bags in general. (1) The threaded end on this version fits perfectly onto the Sawyer Squeeze filter. The newer versions will also fit onto other filters. You need to be careful with the newer versions to choose the bag that will fit your filter. (2) The bag is strong. Once you have collected water, you secure the wide end with the slide. Then you can start to roll and squeeze the bag to force water through the filter. You can also hang it an do a gravity feed filtration. I squeezed the bag firmly but carefully. It worked great.

durable
I bought this product in 2018. It is currently 2024. I've taken it on many many backpacking trips. I use this bag to hold my water to be filtered. I attach a sawyer squeeze filter to this bag (it screws on to the bag). Then any filtered water drains by gravity into my clean collection bag, or if I choose, directly into my 1 L smart water bottle.I did modify the set up a bit: I don't hang the bag by it's cord. I tie a liteweight dyneema type cord (that I use for my tent guy lines) to both ends of the orange closure device at the top of the bag, then hang the bag by the dyneema cord. The 3 L capacity comes in handy for dry areas like Arizona. Most people use the 2L version.

Great quality and price
Took the 3L Water Container version for a 5 day hike in the Smokey Mountains trails in Cataloochee. Filled it with "dirty" water from the rivers and was able to fill the entire bladder and close it with the ease due to the slider in the wide opening top part. I attached the Sawyer PointOne filter to the bottom screw neck. The filter attached directly to it, without the need of adapters or hoses, which made the gravity filtration easy and convenient. This setup filtered the entire 3L of water in a little under 8 minutes. Very well made, great balance between light weight (~3oz) and durability. It is very easy to clean from both ends due to the design, then just hang to air-dry.A definite must for any gravity filtration setup. Much better than going the traditional route of paying high premium for the "top brands", which do exactly the same thing and are not easy to clean due to their impractical design.

Decent product but needs improvement.
When squeezing bag to fast filter water, the wide mouth closure sometimes pops open, drenching the user.I switched to a BeFree and different dirty bag.

Sehr gutes, stabiles Material.
Sehr leicht, sehr gute Verarbeitung, stabiles Material. Zur Zeit noch sehr Intensiver Plastikgeschmack. Ich hoffe, der vergeht.
