Clean
This MidCoat works great for metal flake and glitter. I paint helmets so layering is pretty important and this didn't have any solvent pop.

metal flake
I used this to put large metal flake in to shoot on my motorcycle and also used it to mix a pearl mica to shoot.it dryied fast and went on smooth with the pearl. Then shot candy color then clear. You will have to buy the reducer for it which is sold seprately.

Expensive but good
This clear inner coat lays nice and flat, dries clear, and can be mixed with pigments and flakes.

Too Milky
This mid coat is too milky to use as an intercoat clear or to carry dry flakes or pearls. For mixing colors its perfect. I ended up using a true clear intercoat from Orion my flake came out deeper and more brilliant.
