Stuffing has not become softer over time. I wanted beds that they could sink into. Previous beds did that. This was my choice due to washing convenience of zipper cover.But the foam has never broken down and there are a lot of sharp edges. So I took the inner cover and undid the seams so I could see the foam.What I found was trash. Many pieces had obviously been glued to something at one time. Lots of pieces covered with the glue. Those pieces were extremely sharp feeling. The second type of foam was as pictured, however that foam is not soft it is hard and was hard for me to squeeze it.The third type of foam were pieces you use in sewing. The pieces showed that they apparently were cut for a project and these were the scraps. Those pieces were very thin.So I took the filling out and replaced it with foam filled for sewing projects. Also added the thin pieces back. Filled a garbage bag with the trash pieces. Had these since 2021 and they still haven’t gotten softer and the dogs don’t sink in them. They sit or lay on top of the cushion. Never sunk in.The shag has held up really well. The cover is well made. Love the long zipper.Will not order these again.

We have purchased this bed twice - initially for our 5 year old dog about 3 years ago and just recently for our newest addition. The newest one arrived and it had a small gap in the stiching of the cover. I contacted the manufacturer directly via email (per the instructions that came with it) and was helped almost immediately by their customer service department. Once I had sent in the necessary info (receipt, where I purchased it, etc) they told me my order had been placed and a replacement was on the way. I expected a replacement cover only, imagine my surprise when it arrived yesterday and it was an entire replacement bed! I am so impressed with how quickly and kindly I was helped! This bed is fantastic - not a thin little knock-off that flattens over time, it stays fluffy, is SO EASY TO CLEAN - literally just unzip the cover and throw it in the washing machine! The in oldest one is still fluffy, the "fur" hasn't matted, it still is as plump as ever, and still looks nice in addition to being just as functional as it was on day one. Both dogs love them and snuggle into them completely. This bed is just like a beanbag chair for pups! Love it!

This is ALMOST the perfect dog bed. I love that the inner shell is waterproof and I love the construction of the outer fleece cover. The zipper design is genius. Other slumber ball type beds have a small zipper that inevitably breaks when you attempt to remove/replace the outter shell for cleaning. The genius design of this bed is a zipper that opens up the entire radius of the bed so there's zero stress to the zipper when removing the cover. I love it! The one downside to the bed is the stuffing. It's not very soft. In fact, it's almost hard. I weigh 200 lbs and when I sit on the bed it's firm enough that it prevents me from hitting the floor. My 20 lb dog barely makes a dent in it. I'm sure the softness could easily be rectified by replacing some or all of the stuffing. I haven't tried to do so yet. It's a very small issue in what is absolutely THE BEST dog bed I've ever had. I highly recommend this bed!!

This bed is a B-.I have a dog that loves soft cushy beds but pees in her sleep. So, a comfy place for her plus easy cleaning with a waterproof core was paramount for me. My rating is based on the fact that this bed achieves my two main goals at a good price.The Pros:-Interior liner is definitely waterproof. I tested it.-Very easy to remove cover AND put it back on.-dog likes it-cover is soft and cozy-price is great compared to othersCons:-As other reviewers have said, this bed gets flat in the middle.-The furry cover is very thin. If your dog chews or destroys their beds, look elsewhere. My dog likes to "dig" before laying down, which the outer cover seems to have handled well.- This bed is not really 36" wide, more like 30". It's also nowhere near as tall and fluffy as advertised. In the attached photo, I have it stacked on a 36" Costco brand dog bed. It's a bit taller than that but also has a smaller diameter. My dog loves cushions (and is spoiled) so she was used to a stack of 3 beds. This bed replaced 2 of them.

This product is easy to take on and off the dog bed, is easy to clean, and looks great! Our dogs mostly lounge on the couch, but this bed is used for sleeping in our bedroom at night. It is used to cover a dog bed that also has another blanket on top of it because our dogs are spoiled, so I can't speak to it's durability or waterproof nature.

I measured the bed and this was still smaller so luckily I can use it for another dog bed.

I bought this as a replacement cover for an older round Costco bed. It doesn't fit 100% perfect, but not bad at all. The original bed this covers is taller and a little less wide but it still works fine.

The only issue I have with this bed is a very strong chemical odour from both bed and cover. I will have to let the bad air out for a day to see if that helps. I’ve tried washing the cover to help with the smell but didn’t really work cause the bed has a chemical smell. Presently my dog will not sleep on it because of odour.

Our dog doesn't love this bed that much. Perhaps she doesn't like the lumpy feeling of the rather large foam bits that make up the interior. As an aside, my wife hates it because the colour really isn't great - - it is somewhere between taupe and grey.

Not well made and the waterproof layer is sewn together so poorly and made of such cheap fabric it really can’t be labeled as waterproof
