The light bulb base is an issue for replacement
The globe itself is awesome for a toddler. It’s writing is very small, but seems accurate. However, my biggest concern and the true reason for a 4 star review is the light bulb. The light bulb burnt out within 4 hrs. of use. It was not on the entire time, but turned off and on several times. The problem is the bulb has an unusual base, so I’m having an extremely difficult time finding a replacement bulb. The product description, unless I’ve overlooked it, does not notate information about the light bulb. I’m disappointed that in today’s technology, I’m having this much trouble finding a bulb to fit possibly an outdated socket. This was a birthday gift that has left my 3 & 4 y/o grandson disappointed as well. Any help from the company would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know if it says it anywhere on the listing but, if it does, then it wasn’t very prominent. I had to buy a plug converter, still don’t know if it even works.

The globe looks great in my son’s room. The light blew pretty quick, and I can’t seems to find the right replacement bulb. Any way someone can help out with exactly which bulb I need?

The Chinese Communist Party approves this globe but it's not accurate
This globe depicts the Chinese Communist Party's continued illegal claim to the South China Sea. By including the Nine Dash Line which is unlawful under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) convention. In 2016, the UN judged that there was no evidence China had historically exercised exclusive control over the waters or resources, hence there was "no legal basis for China to claim historic rights" over the nine-dash line.Other than that it is a plastic ball with a light in it....really nothing more than a night light.

Night Light Globe
This globe was purchased as a gift for my granddaughter. It is being used as a night light in her room; which keeps the room from being totally dark at night. She loves it.
