Sturdy and definitely suitable for heavy duty work
This is a very sturdy floor, wall and ceiling scraper, Be aware it's also quite heavy. First one from Amazon arrived without and handle but this was quickly replaced by customer services

Strong and sharp
Bought this as we were removing some kitchen floor tiles which had been covered in self levelling compound. Did the job to get everything (including 99% of the grout) off the concrete floor, but it’s back breaking work!

Sturdy and Sharp
Definitely strong and sturdy, with a good sharp blade. Love that the blade is reversible. It did need the top plastic grip to be glued on as it slipped up and down, but that was dead easy.

Needs a longer handle and soft grip in a usable position.
Purchased to scrape my concrete floor slab back to original condition after removing large format tiles, to install underfloor heating. Whereas a heavy 48 inch crowbar was the perfect length and weight for dislodging and removing my stone tiles intact for relaying afterwards, it could only do half the job of removing the residual tile adhesive. That's where this scraper came in to finish the job.The scraper did the job and did it well but I needed to hold it too low for comfort to avoid getting back ache. It the handle had weight to it, not necessarily as heavy as the crowbar but a lot more than it has, then it would also have had enough momentum to scrape the adhesive well. However, as it is light weight, it requires 2 hands to get weight behind it and it is only long enough for children as it is. It needs an extra foot in length. Moreover, the position of the soft grip, half way up the shaft is completely unusable. I tried moving it closer to the other handle, but it was reluctant to move and when I pushed too hard, it just split lengthways rather than sliding on the shaft. Thus I no longer have the soft grip at all.Alternative brands for the identical product are Faithfull and Neilsen. Replacement blades don't seem to be available from Hilka but Faithfull FAISCRA21 blade appears to be the straight replacement.A last point is that online videos of tile removal all show it making one hell of a mess, creating a lot of dust and requiring the use of respiratory protective equipment. I did not have this problem because I had a hand sprayer and simply showered each area of tile adhesive liberally before having a go at it with either the crowbar or the scraper. With the scraper I ended up pushing adhesive 'mud' in front of the blade, rather than having any airborne dust, and removed it periodically to a bucket using a trowel. Then it was simply a matter of pouring off the water after the adhesive had settled out and adding the 'mud' to my bad of tile adhesive waste. I'd much rather wash the floor a couple of times to get it all off than wash the entire kitchen and all the cupboards!

Works well
SHORT HANDLE WITH NO BUFFER TO TOP, WORKS REALLY WELL JUST A LITTLE BACK BREAKING, VALUABLE ADDITION FOR SURE

Made to last
Solid metal pole and I mean solid with a strong dual metal blade scraper. Did the whole floor with no wear or tear on it. Don’t buy the cheaper scarpers even for a small job, this thing makes it a breeze to do.

Awesome gadget
Made short work of these Marley tiles which is what we brought it for. My only moan is the tile kept getting in between the blade and the plate making the blade curve. But easily resolved by unscrewing the fixing screws and cleaning it. The blade is double edged so after a while i flipped it over and instantly brand new again. Excellent tool worth the money.
