After having mastitis a few times, I realized that my flange size was off. The lactation consultant at my hospital was on maternity leave, so I had to figure out sizing myself. This kit is perfect for this. Pumping has been more comfortable with the insert and my supply has increased. Given many pumps comes standard with a 21 and 24 flange, this is convenient to try out what feels right before committing to a flange size. But really, I’ll just continue to use the insert instead of purchasing extra parts.

This product was received as part of a promotion. This set is really nice. It comes with a variety pack of flange inserts along with a nipple measuring guide to help you figure out your ideal size. I’ve been told that the correct flange size is key to getting ideal milk output. The sizes this package comes with are: 13 mm, 15 mm, 17 mm, 19 mm, 21 mm & 24 mm. The kit also comes with a bottle brush to clean the flanges & other parts you may have. These flanges may work in some pumps, but some pumps require you to get their flanges, as some are proprietary. This is a great starter guide to make sure you get the correct size!

If you are having any kind of pain while you are using your breast pump, getting a kit like this is ideal. The Dr.Isla Breast Pump Flange Insert Kit allows for you to test several flanges to find the size that is good for you. Also, it comes with a cleaning sponge that’s useful for more than just your flanges. I use mine on other parts of the breast pump. There is also a sizing card, I found it less than useful as it is made from cardboard and subject to breaking. I had so much pain before using a flange on my pump, this has made things so much easier.

FTM here - so reading up on different flange sizes kinda just blew my mind... this definitely helps ALOT in the learning process.they measure nicely and fit nicely too - not received the pump yet so am unsure that this will fit in the desired pump BUT I think it's a great starter kit to help the measuring... definitely not 1 size fits all here!

Our hospital grade pump (Sepctra S2) does not allow you to easily swap out the flange/shield size; they’re build into the collectors. The Dr.isla silicone flange inserts we ordered have been a great solution. Just make sure your pump's flange/shield is size 24mm (most pumps come with this size) as that is the size these inserts fit into.The nipple size measuring card is handy to get an accurate measurement of the flange insert size you need. The multi-pack of sizes is also perfect, since size can change or be different on each side. We love that it comes with a soft cleaning brush, it doesn’t scratch the silicone and makes cleaning pump parts easier.There's no problems with leaking as long as the inserts are pressed all the way into the flange for a snug fit. The inserts come into contact with your breast milk, so the fact that they're food-grade silicone and BPA free is an absolute necessity!

These work great! They measure true to size and they really fit well and give an airtight seal. The base is short so it can fit into a wearable pump, and they're easy to clean.
