first time using rice protein
This stuff has been a game changer for my dry hair, which is also literally breaking off at the tips lmao. I use it like i do with their wheat protein, by adding a few drops to a hair mask and then placing a heated cap to let it all soak in. It has made my hair feel significantly softer and just easier to detangle and manage.

Good moisturizer for my sensitive skin
Unscented, Artekas Innovation Hydrolyzed Rice Protein is a protein from rice bran that has been modified to make it water soluble. I add this rice protein liquid to my skincare routine as it’s a good moisturizer for my sensitive skin. Hydrolyzed protein is also a great choice for anyone seeking a vegan, gluten-free option for their hair and skin.

Love for bleached hair
I have very fragile bleached hair. As in if I brush it too hard, strands will snap and break. I took it from a black to platinum color, so the stripping of it via bleach really weakened my hair. I used Olaplex which everyone swears by, but it irritated my scalp and did nothing. It was also like sticking my head in an air freshener. I tried K18 after that, which works, but it costs $100 a bottle and as I have waist length hair, it adds up really quickly. This is a dream in that IT WORKS. My hair felt healthy, resilient, and not brittle. I mixed a couple drops with hair oil on damp hair after a shower, and when it dried-I had healthy hair. This has no scent, no irritation (and imho, works better than the wheat protein from this brand I also bought.)

Rice protein
I have begun making my own hair products recently so I purchased this additive to try out in my recipe. It was very easy to use (I started with a UR of 1%) in water phase and added it in with some of the other actives. It worked out really well and it made my hair really soft and manageable. I have a couple of other products from this supplier and they, too, have all worked very well in my formulations. In addition to hair, rice protein is also very useful in skincare so I plan to use it in skin products soon.

Small amount goes a long way
This product is intended to be mixed with other products. I am going to add a few drops to hair oil I leave in my hair. My hair is color treated and I am in the sun a lot of the day which also damages my hair. This product will be a great addition to my hair care routine.
