It’s a great product and didn’t turn Barbie "Pink"
This actually works! Am I surprised? YES. It changes my colorless lips to a natural looking nudish rosy mauve and when I woke in the morning, the color was still there. No patchiness. I ordered Appleblacktea and it didn’t turn bright pink. For once my research paid off. I read every review, and looked at every picture to figure out which shade would not be "Barbie Pink”. But I’m going to have to try other shades, now. Sometimes TikTok doesn’t lie!

Love it
Love this and have it in three colors. It kind of expensive compared to others brands though. Product wise I haven’t tried other brands so they might work equally as well because I have not used a lip oil before. I have used stains, but they dry out my lips so bad and this does not. Just know that it goes on almost clear in the color takes a minute or two to develop.

A Review of All Four
I purchased all four and I'm here to break it down for you. This is a listing for four related, but fairly different products. Like you, I looked at the descriptions of "hydrating and plumping and smoothing and etc etc etc" and said, "yeah yeah yeah, you put different colors and flavors in them, but they're all the same thing."NO.1. Appletea is the most "lip gloss" like out of the four - I'm guessing this is the "hydrating" component. A little thicker and stickier than the rest. "Flavor" (these are unsweetened) is meh, the green tint doesn't seem to affect natural lip shade in any remarkable way. This one is a 3/5 for me.2. Applecoco is a true lip oil, none of that lip gloss stickiness here. The flavor is nice, very vaguely summery. The tint is super neutral. This one is a 4.5/5 for me, my fav of the four.3. Applemint is very similar in formula to the Applecoco as far as the oil vs gloss thing goes, BUT while it only seems a little minty in smell and taste that BURN sets in. It feels like one of those venom lip plumpers that were so popular 10 or so years ago. The feeling dissipates in 3-5 mins and did seem to pump up the volume a little bit. The blue tint initially made my lips a little pale, but the, uh, "plumping effect" made them flushed. 3.75/5.4. Appleberry is almost a different beast here. Similar lip oil formula feel to the Coco and the Mint, but the color in this one is an actual lip tint/stain. Yes, STAIN. Not "branded for life" stain, but it's not going to wipe right off. This will be a perk for some people. Others want something more ephemeral. Just know that this has a color deposit, and it's an Asian/K-Beauty red which is generally more of a coral (e.g. a little orange-y). Not the best shade for me without a tan, but for someone else it's gonna be the best. Solid 4/5.General notes here:1. These are smaller than you're expecting, but they last pretty long. I bought the Applecoco towards the end of January 2021, wear it almost daily, and still have some left (as of Oct 21).2. The doe foot applicator is stiffer and less soft than I've come across in other lip products. You will live, but be aware if that's a deal breaker for you.3. I've seen a lot of people say this gets leaky in purses and the like. I've only thrown it in a purse maybe once (I'm a cosmetic display kinda gal), so I guess if you need it on the go close that sucker tight and keep the little box it comes in to put it in to be safe (no spilled lipstick in mom's Valentino purse). This is the longest Amazon review I've ever written in my life. If you actually read it, I'm happy to have been this involved in your selection of lip product. Peace.

Apply evenly…I love it!
Great product! Not only is it a long lasting lip stain/color, but it actually keeps your lips hydrated like it says…Other brands lie and dry out your lips. A little goes a long way. Make sure to apply even layer so the color shows up evenly. The color gets more intense the longer you leave it on, so either apply a thin layer or just wipe off the excess once it reaches the color depth you want.

Like initially…
I purchased the applewine color and it went on what I expected, a deeper red/brown wine color which was nice and I liked. As it sat on my lips it became this bright pink that would not wipe away. It felt good on my lips, but I’m hesitant to purchase another because this was not supposed to be a bright pink color but it very much was on my lips.

Best lip stain on the market
After I tried this lip oil, I threw away all my other lip stains. This color (Apple Peony) is the most perfect color I’ve ever used. It is perfect for day or night use and it gives my lips a color similar to just-bitten lips. It’s not too dark which is a concern for me. I have thin lips and dark colors exaggerate the thinness while looking harsh on me. I will say that the color is darker than pictured, but it is not as dark as the Fig color. On top of the awesome color, it leaves my lips super soft. I’m stocking up on this color as it is all I need!

Lovely gloss/stain.
Small but mighty! I love this gloss/stain. I have 2 now and will definitely buy more. The stain lasts for several hours and I have had many compliments on how it looks. Easy application, leaves no bad taste after applying and the tube is so small you can even carry it in your pocket.

Light/ Medium with Nuetral Undertone who prefers more neutral colors
I wanted to love this — the Nooni Lip Oil in Applewine goes on with a gorgeous shine and a soft wine-red tint that looked perfect at first. But after about 15 minutes, the color shifted to a much brighter pink that I didn’t love on me.I’m light-medium with neutral undertones, and the final stain felt a bit too vibrant and pink for my taste. I’m including a photo in my review showing a fresh swatch vs. one that’s been sitting for a while, so you can see the difference.Beautiful formula, just not the right color evolution for me.
