I just got my Chefpreserve to day and couldn’t wait to use it! WOW. I’ve only preserved my grapes so far and I’m so pleased with how this mighty little machine has worked! I will no longer be throwing grapes away!I get food deliveries from a major box store we are all familiar with. The workers pick the items for me wit many items sold by weight. Needless to say for a single person sometimes it’s more than I can eat before they start to go bad. This is why I purchased Chefpreserve, to keep food fresher longer and who doesn’t wantI also own a large bulky food preserver that I have to store when not in use and really, doesn’t work as well as this does. This stores easily and is a very handy kitchen gadget that in the long run will save money and pay for itself.The reusable bags you get are equal amounts of small and large. When you want whatever’s in the bag, open, remove and reseal…it’s that simple. They seem to be pretty sturdy so I’m sure using them in the freezer will also be awesome.It’s an expense to start with, BUT like I said, saving my foods quality with less waste to me is well worth it!Did I mention a FREE 2 year warranty? 👏 Thank you Chefpreserve!

It’s been about 6 months using the vacuum and I have to say I love it. I had a seal a meal that lasted 20 yrs and when it died I went through 2 or 3 less that 10 yrs. I finally gave up and tried Oliso ( the small one about the size of your hand) it died just a few weeks after the warranty. I’d used my original one heavily and 3 of the yrs was while I was catering. So this time I decided to get the chef preserve for the convenience. The bags are outrageously expensive but they have been really reliable for sealing and resealing. I’ve washed then out and reused a number of times. The zip lock closure hasn’t been finicky and I use them more often cause I can take out just a few things and reseal. I love love love how small the unit is and that it’s rechargeable by usb. So convenient and space saving. I can’t say enough about the system. I hope it outlives its predecessor but if it dies I’d buy again.

I love this item! I purchased it the other day after watching multiple videos about this. It works perfectly and exactly as described. I never wanted to buy one of those food savers before cause they take up so much room and is so clumsy. But this one is so small it’s about the size of my hairbrush or smaller. Works perfectly and would recommend it to everybody. I actually took a video to show my friends and family. And at least four more people ordered one immediately… I’m sure the others will as well. And I love that. It comes with a two year warranty. They really stand by their item. I tried twice to send a video, but it kept having an error

EDIT- Manufacturer reached out with more info. Bags are good for about 10 uses, perhaps more if they are hand washed vs. dishwasher. They offered 10 free bags for my issue. Customer service is excellent and they went above and beyond to make it right. I appreciate their concern and response.I've had this for about 6 months now and I've used it for all kinds of things from Meats in the freezer vegetables fruits etc. I bought the kit which included the large and small bags with the vacuum sealer. I love the sealer and it works well and is very easy to charge and holds a charge for a long time. What I don't like is the quality of the bags. The instructions say to wash them on the top shelf of the dishwasher, however after doing this a few times I noticed the bags no longer seal. I am using the enclosed tool that allows you to pinch it together tightly to hold the seal so that you can vacuum the air out of the bag. But I find that these are not always resealing. also had an issue where the vacuum sucks all the air out but as soon as you remove the vacuum from the button that attaches to the vacuum to suck out the air, it let's air right back into the bag. I do have more bags to use, but now that I realize they are only good for a short period of time, I will struggle with either ordering more bags or switching to an entirely different system which means I have to buy a brand new vacuum. I'm going to try and hand wash them going forward to see if that makes them last any longer than more than a few times per usage.

I tried a less expensive brand of a vacuum sealer, which did not come with bags or information on which bags to buy…which made it worthless. I saw a lot of ads for the Chef Preserve vacuum sealer, with almost all 5-star reviews. Amazon had an affordable price for not just the sealer but also 30 bags and 3 glass containers. The price for the set was way less than purchasing them individually. This is working really well, sealing expensive meats that will last for a year in the freezer. I haven’t tried other types of food yet, but as the summertime fruits and veggies come out, this will keep them fresher for longer. I’d give this 10 stars if I could…this is an excellent product!

AWESOME! This is the best gadget in my kitchen. As a single person in an RV this is a space saver both for food and to store. I will no longer be concerned about buying family packs of chicken beef or fish and my garden vegetables will not go bad. The suction power is great and I like that to recharge you just need a USB port. Highly recommend it.

This little kitchen gadget saves you all kinds of money. I had the big food saver that took up so much space. I seen this little one and thought oh how perfect to take in the rv with us while traveling. Little did I know that I would use this so much more. This little gadget saves you on food spoilage and lets you not only buy in bulk and split items, but keeps all your fruits and veggies fresh all the time.
