I bought this for my QRP HF Radio to use with an external power source. The cord should handle the load easily without dropping the voltage or current.

Works perfectly to plug the Bitaxe into a power supply. Ordered 2 (4 total) and am running 3 Bitaxe to a single power supply.

Appears to be OK quality. Long term to be evaluated.

Use the right angle 5521 barrel connector on a small portable battery unit in my camping mini-van. The right angle keeps the connector from protruding into the "living space" and thus protects it from damage or damage to the connector on the battery. The bare wire ends had Powerpole 12v connectors added to the ends as is shown in the photo.

Very well made product, which I used to connect a solar panel to a game camera.

I don't know why the "1mm" cross section specification rather than the actual gauge of the conductors, other than that is what is printed on the jacket. Actually my jacket says "1.5mm" so well larger than advertised. I've no good way to measure the diameter of stranded wire, but my caliper seems to agree more or less with the spec. My chart shows that diameter to be between 14 and 16 gauge, and I don't see any reason to disbelieve it. The jacket and inner insulation are surprisingly heavy, though not excessively stiff or difficult to work with. From the tinned ends to the very end of the plug is exactly 1 meter. Plug mated to my existing jacks with the correct polarity and color coding.Well priced kit. Add your favorite connectors and you're good to go.
