Great for the price!
Great knife for the price, I use it for filleting my fish, hasn’t rusted, hasn’t bent, the handle is firm and doesn’t slip, seems to be quite well made, it seems to stay sharp with little maintenance, just wash, Use a honing Steel before every use and sharpen with a wet stone every so often as needed. Will buy again for sure!

It’s a Dexter Russell...need I say more!
Very sharp out of the package. Incredibly flexible knife with just the right amount of rigidity. Keeps an edge yet soft enough to put an edge back on easily. All in all a great fillet knife at a good value.

Good Knife
Plain and simple, this is a good knife but it's always hard to tell if a knife is good or not until it is used for a while and you know how well it keeps it's edge. Out of the package it is very sharp and it did well filleting the salmon I recently caught. The handle grip is good, and holds well in my slippery hands. The blade is narrower than other fillet knives I own, which I like and it is sturdy. It does not come with a sheath but shame on the other reviewers for giving it a lower review. They knew what they were buying so that is on them. I made one out of cardboard and duct tape that works fine.I catch plenty of salmon during the season and will come back to update this review if I find anything wrong with it. It was recommended to me by a charter boat captain who fillets a lot of fish so I suspect my review won't change.I would recommend this knife to a friend. How I review:When I review a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. I then add and/subtract stars based on certain criteria as listed below.1. If an item is exactly what I expected and nothing more it will receive a four star rating2. If an item surpasses my expectations it will gain a star (5 Stars)3. If an item goes slightly below my expectations it will lose a star (3 Stars)4. If the instructions for the product (if needed) are poorly written (hard to understand due to language issues or grammar) or just too hard to follow it will lose a star no matter if the product meets or exceed my expectations5. If a product is significantly below my expectations I will deduct two stars6. It will be rare that I would give a product one star since I buy mostly items that have a 4+ rating but in rare instances there may be a good reason that even a four star product receives a one star rating from me. It could be because of customer service issues from the company but whatever the case is I will clearly explain my reason for giving a product only one star

Great for processing a deer
This does such a good job getting the silver skin off the meat. Super sharp, flexible without breaking. Nice sturdy handle and easy to clean. Just don't cut yourself. If you take the box it came in and fold it in half you can staple it together to make a sheet for it so you can store it in a drawer without cutting yourself

Great knife for the price
Going on 2 years of use. It’s my favorite knife to use, clean fish with it, process deer and hogs with it, cut vegetables. Sharpens up nicely with cheap knife sharpener
