I haven’t used my long enough to comment on it going moldy, but this is a nice set. The key to using natural material items is to store them in a way so they get air to dry. The brush head for the handled brush does come out so you can replace it, as needed. I have some natural brush heads from ikea that are just a smidge small to use with the handle, but would work in a pinch. The soap dish is perfect for my small block of natural dish soap. I haven’t used the loofah sponge yet, but it’s a nice addition to this set. The scrub brush works well, but you will need to replace the whole thing after a while. Not sure what the life span of these are, but because you can’t sanitize them like more traditional sponges, you should take that into consideration before purchasing. However, it’s a great set or starter kit for making the switch to plastic free scrubbers.

These are holding up well so far and seem to be well made. They do their job!

I’ve only had these a few months and this looks like mold to me.

Long brush went moldy right away after use., other than that the rest is cute and made well.
