Brill purchase
Great item easy to use and clean comes apart when you undo the little bolt on bottom, I also used a wooden kebab stick to open middle of donut 🍩 else the heat closed the ring I also counted a slow 3 seconds to let the batter enter and found cooking them in a deep frying pan on a low heat better if heat is too high they burn on outside and wet in middle, i also left out nutmeg and cloves from try no2 (off box recipe) and was truly like seaside donuts (and I live on at the seaside so would know) certainly helped to fix our weekend treat with the lockdown cannot walk up to the beach for our treat. But can now do them at home

Didn't really work for me.
I think I'll have to invest in a more professional version. The first one came out fine, but despite having oiled it, the rest were rather mishapen & difficult to release. Also tried with Gold Wax spray, & generally nothing sticks to that!

doughnuts
I made the doughnut batter but found it hard to get it in the container. I have arthritic hands so may have to revert to a different type. the same thing when I made waffle batter very hard not to get it all over the place.

It does what it's supposed to do
It's rare that I usually disagree with negative reviews on an Amazon product, but this is the only time where I disagree so much that I felt the need to write a glowing review for a product that deserves way more attention. This works exactly as it should. The recipe on the box is perfect, the donuts came out fine (not perfect, but it was a quick/bodged job by myself, and I wouldn't consider myself a decent cook/baker either) and I can't see any reason why the donut maker would deserve a negative review apart from it being down to user error.I cannot recommend this enough. Give it a go!

Practice makes perfect... donuts!
After seeing some of the poor reviews left for this I thought I’d share my experience... Absolutely brilliant! Have I mastered the perfect “ring” donut yet? No. But I have made donuts with a hole in the middle. I think it will just take some practice to get it right but it is easy enough to use. The recipe on the box is delicious though (I didn’t add the spices mind you) and does come out the right consistency so if your making thinner batter then yes the dispenser won’t work. Love the fact I can now make fairground donuts at home now!

Pancake dispenser
I am pleased to inform you that I received the product that I bought recently from the amazon arrived on time and I like the price and the shape. So I use it to make cakes, thanks for that.

Wonky doughnut maker
Well this certainly doesnt make the doughnuts thats pictured on the box. Think of these as more of, wonky doughnuts. On the plus side, the doughnut recipe on the box makes the same doughnuts you get at the seaside, you know, the hot ones sprinkled in sugar. Use fresh vegtable oil and not last nights chip pan oil and youll not go wrong. I use one of them square electric fryers at 170c for 1.5 minutes each side and they come out great albeit, very wonky but delicous.
