Previously I have bought this product in loose form in a box and it was easy enough to use. However, this time I bought the pre-packaged measured dose of the product in the pod form and I like that better. Yes, it works. We bought a house two years ago for the first time and didn't know anything about septic tanks. This stuff works! Just drop a packet in the toilet and flush it once a month.
