How often does someone use the Slope Mode? Is this feature really that important?

Yeah,it is so important especially when you want to take your training to the new level. 
When the flag is downhill,  the slope mode will tell you the compensation distance.  It can help you choose the right club and swing with confidence.And you can turn off the slope swich to make the tournament legal.

Why do I sometimes measure inaccurately?

1.Is the operation correct? Short press the Power Button to measure and don't keep pressing the Power Button.
2. Unit error: your unit is meters, but your partner's unit is yards
3.Use both hands: Studies have found that holding the rangefinder with both hands is more accurate
4.Do not cover the lens.The compact design makes it easy to get a finger or part of your hand in front of the bottom lens
5.Target Reflectivity:The higher the reflectivity of the object,the better the ranging ability (It may be fail to measure the target that can hardly create diffuse reflection,such as transparent glass and water surface)
6.Extreme weather: such as fog, rain, suspended particulate matter,extreme humidity will affect the measuremen accuracy
7.The measurement object is not clear: such as too small, the color is transparent or too dark, blocked by obstacles,etc.
8.Weak battery signal: A weak battery signal can affect the accuracy of the device. If a low battery indicator appears on the LCD display, please replace the battery

I think it's depend on personal preference. I'm very afraid that the rechargeable rangefinder will run out of power on the course, so I prefer the GAKOLF rangefinder with a physical battery, which can be replaced at any time. BTW, the battery model will be more durable.
