The rear axel screws in for assembly. So it is hollow on one end. I've pressed maybe 50 times and it sheared through the axel. If they produce a proper rear axel it's a great product. Since mine is sheared now I can't use it, I have to purchase a new one FROM SOMEONE ELSE.

This press is cumbersome to use with a surface that isn’t nonstick, it requires use of plastic or parchment paper when preparing dough making it messy.

A pesar de ser de hierro , no sirve , se partió y parece de papel , en cualquier momento se parte . No se los recomiendo

This tortilla press is a heavy duty press. I have the 10” press and it is great for making fresh tortillas. The item is packed in a cute gift box, making it ideal for gifts.

The seasoning is very bad quality. This is going to rust in no time. I also was expecting good quality cast like the ones I've seen in the past. But now I know why -- this is made in china junk.Really not worth it. Go with Victoria which is the original iron press. I am returning this and buying the 10in Victoria one. The only reason I had bought this one first is because the price was lower. But now I see why the price is lower. This is junk. Don't trust my food touching this.
