Used it to burn weeds. It did well with things that were already dry but some weeds did come back after 2 weeks so might need another round

This is a big boy torch. It's loud, hot and cool! I'll be using it to control weeds from now on. Once you get used to how it works, you can aim it just so and burn weeds without destroying the grassline. It actually edged the grass at the concrete edge. The gas control is a little wonky but after a bit of use, it works okay. Don't forget to shut off the gas at the tank or you may find a tiny gas leak drained all your gas in storage. Don't even think about using a small container. You will need a gas grill type of propane tank for this bad boy. The tank gets quite cool as you use it. That gives an indication of just how much gas you are using. But who cares!

Works well. It burns thru propane pretty quickly though.
