- Iridescent Goldstone is a rich gold with a slight reddish undertone. Iridescent colors reflect light and their semi-transparent quality adds a fascinating sense of depth to your work. Why Luminescent Watercolors? Nature has optical surprises in the colors that you see in birds’ feathers, insects, fish, and seashells, many flowers also have a pearly, dewy sheen to them. Consider the iridescence of a snail's trail or a silvery spider's web. Quality brand -- great color
Daniel Smith watercolors are the ones I prefer, with a few exceptions for certain colors. This Iridescent Goldstone is quite wonderful, has a nice sheen and it's a good hue.

High quality paint.
My granddaughter wanted this for Christmas. She loved it. She's an artist and paints with nothing but Daniel Smith paints. Per her recommendation, I'd say it's a quality paint.
