Found "the one"!
I've tried a variety of foods with my cory cats and elephant snail (as well as my unfortunate pond snail population) and this food is SO well loved by all of them! A little goes a very very long way, too. A single wafer sinks, expands to triple-quadruple the size, and feeds 4 adult and 5 juvenile panda cories, 1 elephant snail, and whatever of the pond snail population comes over for about 24 hours very happily.Committed to a large container of these because my pet store hasn't restocked the bags. Hopefully these stay around.

Pleco loves them, and so do my guppies.
The media could not be loaded. Guppies will eat their flake, then dive on down to eat these and get their fill. Pleco comes along after dark and cleans up. Everyone seems very happy with this brand. Will not go back to the old Tetra brand after trying these. Nothing left in the morning.

Apparently very tasty
I have 2 algae eaters in my 130 gallon aquarium. The older fella has gotten picky so I was looking for something to try that he might like. They both now are waiting in the morning for me to drop them in!! They are apparently very tasty. Will definitely be ordering again and again.

Great ingredients, don't sink easily when whole
Pros:-Good quality of ingredients-Lots of veg as main ingredients vs. other brands-Large, substantial wafers-Soften easily on the outsideCons:-They are very, very, VERY difficult to sink as a whole wafer.. they float, even when soft around the outside.-I could only sink them if I broke them apart, even then I have to presoak them.Pros outweigh the cons overall. I tend to presoak food anyways, but I have to use another algae water if I need to quickly feed my fish.

Great quality food
My bottom feeder fish love this food! I love that it is made with high quality ingredients. The only negative I find is that not all the wafers sink right away. It is about a 50/50. But I've used other brands of algae wafers, and they all seem to have this issue. Not a big deal, they will sink eventually. And I've found that if you break them in half they will sink faster. But it is rather hard to break them in half. I'm considering buying a pill splitter for it.

Well made alage wafers
I used to use hikari wafers but since the radiation problems in Japan I wont feed contaminated food to my fish, snails, and invertebrates. My fish, snails, and invertebrates actually prefer cobalt to hikari. My test was since I normally use 20 hikari pellets I put 10 hikari and 10 cobalt on opposite sides of the tank. hikari was placed in the normal feeding zone. Everything was clustered on the cobalt side in less tank 5 mins and hikari was left alone till the cobalt was gone and even then they were reluctant to go to the other side. Cobalt tablets are thicker and bigger than hikari wafers so I use 15 now. This food does not cloud the water as my tablets sit for hours before eaten completely.

Am I using too much?
I recently added 2 Plecos to my tank because I couldn’t keep the algae under control. Well they cleaned the tank in one day! So I bought theses pellets. I have 2 Plecos and 2 Bala shark in a 30 gal tank. I’ve been putting one pellet per day in the tank. I worry that the Plecos aren’t getting enough because the Bala love this stuff too. But I’ve had to do 2 water changes in a month because this food is causing a thick, brown slime build up on the filter pad and when I go to change it all the slime pours into the tank. Is anyone else having this problem? It says it won’t cloud the tank, but for me it does, a little, and the slime is just making my life miserable.

Fish love them!
These just arrived today. We purchased these for our plecos, and discovered that our mollies, tetras, and Angel fish also like them. They do take some time to absorb enough water to drop to the bottom of the tank, but, sink they will. The one that I added earlier is currently resting on a plant at the back of our tank, and still being nibbled on. I'll drop another in the tank tonight before shutting off the light, as plecos are more active in the dark.
