Yoders Amish Canned Pork Sausage - 28 Ounces

Yoders is good stuff.Cans are in perfect condition, no dents, dings. Received a new product, not like some other sellers who sell off their nearly expired stuff. Highly recommend.

Calling it Pork sausage is a bit deceiving. It may be pork, but taste nothing like sausage. It actually has the texture of, and taste just like corned beef, and if the label did not say pork, I wouldn't know that it was. Now, that being said. If you like corned beef or corned beef hash, you'll love this. If I were doing a blind taste test, I would say it is some of the best corned beef I ever had out of a can. As a corned beef, I'd easily give it 5 stars. But as a sausage, maaaybe 3. So I figure a good compromise would be 4 stars.

I'd just opened the can of Pork Sausage, and immediately did not like the smell. I've had the can for a few years, but the taste is very close to Spam, which tastes slightly better. This product did not taste good at all! It may work as a survival item, but you'd have to be close to starving to find this edible. Don't buy.

Don't know what's in that Yoders can marked sausage, but it ain't sausage. Has a smell and taste close to maybe corned beef hash. Some Yoders sausage and Libbys canned sausage gravy makes for one Awful breakfast. I would stick to the Yoders bacon which is excellent.
