OMG I LOVE THIS CHAIR !!! I’m waiting for Double Knee Replacement Surgery in December. Have such difficulty getting up from sitting position !! This chair is perfect as I can just put feet down & slide off !! I’m only 5’3” so the chair is very high - but don’t have any problems. It looks great & the foot rest has a protective cover so wood doesn’t wear down etc...

I ordered and received two chairs. One was packaged perfectly and included all parts. The other was a messy mix of styrofoam blocks, sheets, and parts. But not all the parts. The hardware bag was missing, the cup holder slide was missing, and the two wooden pieces the cup holder slides on were never assembled to the chair at the factory and they were not in the box. Someone had a bad day on the manufacturing line!I haven't been able to get a rep using the support number, and even though the recorded message says to press 1 to leave a message, pressing 1 doesn't do anything. Sigh. Another half-a$$ed project I need to finish myself. Buyers beware, you may need to exercise your woodworking skills to have a complete chair.

The chair continues to loosen after retightening several times. I now need to purchase another chair…it will not be this one.

There is nothing I didn't like, it perfect, perfect, perfect

It is a beautiful chair and pretty comfortable. It arrived on time, but the packaging was pretty beat up and as I put it together for my father's Christmas present, I found huge gouges on the very top part of the wood by the back rest and again on one of the rails. I had to go ahead and give it to him and when I spoke to a Amazon representative, I only had the choice to drive an hour to my father's house, take it apart, drive back to my house another hour and pack it in the new box from the replacement, put that one together, drive it back out to my dad's and drive another hour home... Or, get 20% refunded. I'm not sure $40 is worth having a damaged chair that you pay $200 for, but it sure beats driving 4 hours and putting together and taking apart another chair!

My son put together for me. Unfortunately the seat was damaged not happy with condition of product. Foot bar also is loose and eventually it will break off. Would like to return but can’t get wood plugs out without damaging them to gain axes to screws.

I bought this chair for my father. He loves it and it's easy for him to get in and out of. However, it is MOVING and wobbly. These factory joints look like they have wooden dowels and I would assume glued. They appear to be coming apart. The joints where we assembled after receipt seem to be fine. It's a hassel to try to return something this large but I'm hoping to get the broken parts replaced! My father won't let me take it back but I'm afraid it's becoming dangerous!

This might be considered a specialized chair after the need for a high chair is over, as in a hip replacement or knee surgery. But for that particular need, the chair is excellent. It's attractive and well constructed. You might need to be tall, perhaps over 5'8", to sit comfortably in this chair. On the whole, this is an excellent investment in your orthopedic recovery.
