I’m short and have a problem finding a backpack that fits. Most are too large (too long) but a youth size is too small. I can never get the hip belt at the right spot and my shoulders start hurting 20 minutes into the hike. This bag fits very well and the hip belt comfortably sits on my hip bones, making it much easier to carry a heavy bag. The bag has multiple straps for getting the right fit. There are 3 pockets and has access for a hydration bag.

The media could not be loaded.  The good: This bag fits me very well and is very comfortable. I'm 5'7" and 175lbs. One thing I like about this pack you don't normaly see with cheaper ones is the pull-forward style waist belt. This makes the pack very comfortable and easy to adjust. The load lifters are a nice addition too. The color of the orange bag is vibrant and includes a nice retroreflective accent on the shoulder strap.The bad: The workmanship and materials of this bag feel cheap and stiff, but acceptable for the price. I wouldn't expect this bag to last very long. I also would have liked to see more compartments, but this is all excusable for the price.The takeaway: this is a comfortable pack for light-duty use, or if you want a cheap option to dip your feet into day hiking without breaking the bank.

A great backpack for the price. It has all the space you need for a day hike. It's not large enough for camping gear. It has convenient side pockets for easy access while hiking. Lightweight material and will dry quickly if it gets wet, but it comes with a rain cover which will work okay in light rain.

I depend on reviews before many of my purchases- so I figured it was time for my own review. I have used twice so far hiking mountains. First off, like others have said, I'm not sure this is 40L. But, it still holds a lot of stuff ( winter puffy, complete change of clothes, first aid kit, etc). I wanted a smaller pack, looked at many and this price is definitely right, so took a chance. Straps are adjustable and secure, lots of loops available, waist pockets can hold little things( not a phone), zippers all work. I am very happy with it, supportive enough, didn't hurt my shoulders or back like some others I've tried. Feels like a gem for the 20 ish dollars I spent on it!

Daily usage stood up to carrying lap top for remote work along with using it to carry travel clothes and some times a few grocery items. My only issue has was one of the zippers came off the track and didn’t appear any of ribs were damaged. Couldn’t figure out why and how to realign it back on

Great size for air travel and also day hiking. Lots of nice pockets and straps that also make usable for an overnight outing.

The bag looks good and the stitches also good, no loose ends or other unpleasant defects. However, the waist strip is way too long to me!!! You can see from the photos that even if I’ve pull the buckle to the end, it still has about two fists of extra space! And this makes the waist strip useless!!! So sad that I had to return it! For the manufacturer, one obvious suggestion is to adjust the length of the waist side pockets, I also would like to see more pretty colors, like pepper mint, pale pink, lemon, etc, also different patterns, like floral, mountains-views, etc.. hope they would see my suggestions!
