I’ve been using this Mylee 5-in-1 Builder Base gel for a few months now while learning how to do my own nails, and it’s been really helpful. The clear formula is easy to work with and cures well under my lamp. It definitely gives my nails extra strength—I’ve been able to add decals and little jewels without any issues.You can apply it in thin layers if you’re going for a more natural look, but I’ve also tried doing a thicker layer and it really adds strong stability to the nails. If it doesn’t lift, you can just file it down and refill instead of removing it completely, which saves a lot of time.I sometimes get lifting at the tips, but I know that’s more to do with my application than the product itself. Overall, it’s been a great multitasker—easy to use, strong, and perfect if you’re just starting out or looking for something reliable to build and protect your nails.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I've used this a few times now and have been happy enough. I wanted a colour I could use for French manicures. It only lasted a week each time so far as I've been doing a lot of cleaning and gardening with them so I wouldn't expect them to last. It is very floppy compared to normal gel but it's easy to adapt. I had a split nail and built it up on this one the first time (see photos), and this nail did last 2 weeks, and the split didn't get worse despite me peeling it off after 2 weeks. The colour was different because I'd built it up but it wasn't super noticeable. I've used other Mylee nail varnishes, and used their base and top coat, and their lamp.

I like this product and I use it all the time on my own nails. However I didn't realise that it is a hard non-soak off gel. Which makes doing another set a bit annoying. But I do still really like it and it is easy to apply because the consistency isn't too runy or thick and it holds its shape well. I have yet to have it chip and it does last really quite well, I do get a bit of liting but that is standard for my nails.

I’ve been using the Mylee Builder Gel in Light Pink for years now as an alternative to acrylic nails, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! I usually apply two coats of the builder gel, then layer gel polish on top—and my nails stay strong and flawless for over two weeks.

Mylee builder gel never lets me down! My favourite nail product of all time. Lasts forever, strong, beautiful shades and easy to remove with nail drill. Amazing quality.

I’ve always bought the clear version but ordered the peach by mistake. Thought I’d keep it and give it a try. It’s so thick and gloopy and doesn’t seem to fix to the nail after being cured.

Lovely colour for a nice natural nail.I added orange as I had no white at this time for my tips.Easy to work with. Great quality biab.
