Q: It's July with a heat index over 100 degrees and those delivery vans get HOT. Is the product somehow protected?

I've never been inside the delivery vans so I cannot attest to any heat issues. There is no safety or health warning on the label in relation to heat affecting the quality and we've not had issues storing it in the garage during the summer (it gets hot here)

Well....my rescue cat refuses to eat any canned meat at all, including tuna fish. He refuses to consider any treat with the exception of Trader Joe's turkey treats. The rest he will sniff at and then give you the "really?" look and walk away. So, I would consider him quite picky and he will eat this. However, I started with a half dose amount on his kibble and made sure it was well distributed and he eats it up with no problem and now is getting the full amount. My other guy would pretty much KILL to get into this and is constantly attempting to steal into the rescue cat's food (he is still a kitten and on kitten food). So, probably worth a shot and I will say the alleviation of the itchy skin and continual licking and scratching resulting in a lovely soft and full coat is well worth it.

Q: How much should I use for a 15 pound dog?

I would do 1 pump. That is for up to 19 lbs but it will be good. Our French bulldog gets 2 pumps and she's 26 lbs. That is the dose our vet prescribed. Both our older dog and 7 month old puppy are on it. Their coats are soft and very shiny. Plus our older dog is moving better now. If your dog doesn't seem to want it on their food to start just sprinkle something tempting over the mixed food. After a couple days you won't need to anymore.
