It provides excellent protection from the heat, even for pans that are ripping hot. The silicone is not as forgiving as cloth, so when gripping something heavy or large, I usually still opt for gloves (to ensure a more secure grip). But for everything else, I usually turn to these.Usefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: ***** (5 stars)These are definitely useful! Have them scattered between the oven and the toaster oven. They look great, are heavy duty and seem to clean up ok. I just checked ours and there are no obvious stains on it.

These are the best potholders and oven mitts. I love the way they are designed and how easy they are to keep on your hands for a good grip for getting things out of the oven or off the stove. They fit well and are very flexible. They are so easy to clean! You can take a damp cloth to them to wipe them off, or Clorox wipe, they really clean up nicely and stay looking new. The silicone really gives them a good grip to hold onto things, as well as working as a hot pad. The value is amazing for just quality mits.

High quality, heavy duty oven mitts! They have a pocket on the back so you you can actually use them as a mitt. I chose black because I was tired of stains, lol, but it works! I cook and bake all the time, so my mitts are used constantly. These will hold up for awhile!

These are nice pot holders. The color was a little bit lighter than I thought they'd be, but I like them and use them every day. They wash and dry well, too.

Great quality, nice thick fabric. I don't feel the heat after a while like I have experienced in the past with other pot holders. Would buy again.

I purchased these to stop burning my hands when I pull trays from the oven. They are easily cleanable and very effective when I use them. They are so effective, I haven't even tried to pull a hot tray from the oven with my bare hands in at least 7 months. I have never burned my hands with these on.Great product, great quality, no more heat-induced hand injuries.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked these for the color and extra protection they offered. They are great, and do have extra protection from the heat when getting something out of the oven. Good purchase.
