This is my second attempt to submit a review. Apparently I gave a link to an outside source and such links are not allowed, so I went to edit, which is a farce because you actually start from scratch... Thanks Amazon, I spent a lot of time give clean useful ( I believe ) information to help the next buyer of this unit....Anyhow:The is my second dual zone I've installed myself... and I feel the first was successful, even tho the fan has become much louder over time . That was in 2019 and the unit still works. This second delivery came and one of the two inside units was rough ( the fins were bent/ smashed ) in multiple places, which I straighten back with a utility knife.TO BE CONSIDERED:DYI'ers should check with whom they would have vacuum and release the coolant, if they are seeking to maintain the warranty. I found in my area that nobody wants to provide such service ( odd, I know ). Given the situation, I decided to vacuum and release myself... and after many Youtube videos, finally ran across a James Harmon video wherein the fellow gave the clearest/ best procedure that made the process full proof ( and there were some video's that left me with big questions ). I should mention one good ideal I picked up elsewhere was that one can let the vacuum test sit for 3 or 4 hours after the pump is off ( doesn't hurt to be sure the vacuum holds )... I happen to turn the pump back on again after the 4 hours and then released the coolant because that doesn't hurt either.

Bought the 18k BTU 2 head version. One of the heads stopped blowing cold air at the end of the second summer. I had an HVAC tech come out who confirmed there was no leak and we needed to replace a valve. He was unfamiliar with Senville so asked me to reach out to them for the part. I called and explained the situation and the location of the valve based on my interaction with the HVAC tech. The Senville tech support said the only valve on the unit is the reversing valve. I purchased this as I wasn't offered it under warranty. I went back to the HVAC tech with this information for him to tell me that this is incorrect. OK GREAT, so I go back to Senville and open a ticket explaining again what is needed and the location of the valve. Ticket # 205657, I am unable to view a response.With Senville being no help I have found out online that Senville is just rebranded Midea units. I was able to find a schematic and ID the part as the electronic reversing valve and order the Midea equivalent.In conclusion if something goes wrong you are on your own. Senville will not help you.

I've had these now 1.5 years and I've had absolutely no issues. I have a 650 sq ft house and these are actually almost too much for the space (not complaining). I live in upstate NY and the humidity has been brutal the past year and these REALLY cooled down the house to west I had to put on a sweater. The heat is amazing. Again, we get VERY cold winters here and the heat works like a charm. Get a humidifier tho during the winters because it does make the air very dry. Or boil water, whatever your fancy. But beware, then it heats up the house very quickly. Customer service was amazing. I had called regarding my warranty as I forgot to get the license number of the installer and they and I had a fall out (contractor) but they were very very helpful and addressed the issue quickly and even called back to make sure all was ok. I super duper highly recommend. Also, my bills have been much cheaper. My electric company was going off estimations and I'm so busy with life I didn't even realize my bills were still so high, they came out, did an actually reading and realized they over charged by an enormous amount. 300 credit. Heating bills run about 90 per month, cooling about 50. (Everyone is different and every place is different though) Bills went down significantly.
