Sunday Morning Blend, Volume 2: 25 Solo Keyboard Medleys for Contemporary Worship arr. by Carol Tornquist

I have been an organist/pianist for a long, long time and I appreciate the blended medleys from this selection. There are actually five of these that I'm aware of and I purchased three of them at a Christian book store while on vacation. I really wanted the other two to complete my collection and lo and behold, Amazon had them! If you enjoy stylish arrangements for keyboard of both traditional and contemporary Christian music, these are definitely for you. I would put them at a medium difficulty - they aren't so easy and simple, but they aren't extraordinarily hard and would not require a great deal of practice if you are a fairly accomplished keyboardist.

This book is my favorite, maybe because most of the songs are familiar to me and I love them. The arrangements are good for a person with medium expertise. Beginners could try them, but may get frustrated.

Purchased as a gift. Unfamiliar with the content, but I've liked other arrangements by Carol Tornquist.

It wasn't what I expected. I had hoped for the traditional melodies.

This is my third book in the series and I love how they have put together a contemporary song with a more traditional one.

This series of piano arrangements by Carol Tornquist are simply great! I use them in church Sunday mornings and have piano students using them as well.

Sunday Morning Blend 2 is definitely a keeper and a staple for my sunday morning piano, be it prelude or postlude. I really like the arrangements which is contemporary yet warm and mellow at the same time. It has song arrangements really suitable for reflections during preludes and joyful, celebratory ones for postludes. Also, I can mix and match the songs and even just play one song of the 2 song blends. I really feel like an expert when I play these arrangements! I bought the book not knowing half of the songs listed but it turned out to be really nice. Really happy I bought this!
